Just about all the women I've ever had relationships with come from Scandinavia or the Ukraine....the map legend doesn't account for those beautiful women, nor does it account for Russia. Is it because the women there are so well endowed they are off the scale?...I wouldn't be surprised. (EDIT.....the color of red in the legend does not match the pinkish-red of Scandinavia, Ukraine and Russia...but it obviously refers to it).
Perhaps, evolution in those Northern regions has naturally selected for this much appreciated trait. It would confer a two-fold advantage....
Keeping the lady's core body temperature more insulated from the cold while still attracting us insatiable males even through thick parkas! Just my un-tested theory. Thank you mother nature!

Real or fake, or does that even count? Since Breast augmentation is at an all time high in the US, is that bumping up their stats?
Probably a bit more mundane a reason. More milk potential capacity to feed the little ones in a climate that is not conducive to food production for much of the year.
Well that would be correct if breast size was related to milk production capacity... which it isn't.

Don't forget though, that America has a lot of fatties. It's easy to be an FFF+ cup or whatever if you are overweight, and this is an average they are doing.

Funny thing about breast size in relation to milk capacity: smalls breasts are capable of producing more milk than large breasts.
I was between A and B and after I gave birth I went to DD: rock hard and loaded, whereas, the natural DD down the hall was struggling to make enough milk for her kid. The doctor said it wasn't unusual.
Besides, I really notice the humongous breasts to be from Ireland and the Ukraine.

Yes....but I don't think you can argue that women are "fatter" in Russia, Scandinavia and the Ukraine when compared to the U.S....which has a smaller breast size. I do think that there may be something to my theory......people have not existed in Northern Climates for any length of time in Canada......only a few hundred years.....no time for any evolution. The remainder of the Northern Hemisphere show's on the Breast Size Map as having the largest breasts in the world.....because of the inherent cold...women here would be forced to cover their bodies with furs, clothing etc...and men would more easily find an attractive mate is she has very large breasts.....the shape visible through even thick clothing...otherwise a women may appear to look like a man while wearing all the thick clothing. Also, breasts are a great fat storage organ....who's increase in size is more likely to attract a male...than an increase in belly fat size. Help keep the female's core body temperature warm..provide a calorific reserve for when food is scarce.....and attract the males....all good things.
But wait a second blackcad, loads of people from Canada immigrated from regions in Scandinavia, so wouldn't they have brought their evolutionary achievements with them...Norwegians all along the coast of BC and many Swedes and Norwegians throughout the prairies.

Absolutely right laurel love.....and they would bring those traits with them....but now..Canada is extremely ethnically diverse with the Caucasians who emigrated from those regions much more diluted. Eg...in the largest urban centres of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver Caucasians represent a much smaller percentage of the overall population than they have in the past.
And yes...the floating potential of larger breasts would certainly confer an advantage to women especially where they would be more likely to drown........and they would be more likely to drown in cold water than more temperate water.
