so many right-wingers constantly getting offended by people trying to make the world better. relax, stop being such a delicate snowflake!
So, Andrew, pray tell, how do all these people get out and stay on the wings before the plane has actually come down?Of course, too many people piled on either wing brings the whole plane down.
THIS is a profound statement.I enjoy S.O.B.-stories,more than sob-stories.
The usual S.O.B.-story narrative,is about aggressive over-achievement.
The usual sob-story narrative,is about passive under-achievement.

Hard times.... we can't get away with bullying, racism, and raping women with nothing more than just a chuckle from the bros anymore. Sexually harrassing women in the work place is frowned upon, people don't think racist jokes are funny anymore, and they're trying to make the world safer for people other than white men! It's just not like the good ol days...
All the happy people trying to make ALL people happy and to ensure they have the same rights and freedoms we have are a real drag. Misery is losing it's company.

“Things aren’t that bad”I get it, mine wasn't meant as a personal attack either, but rather a feeling I have that society, in particular North American society, needs to step back, analyze the severity of their problems, and realize we don't have it that bad, in general. At least not yet. All the people you see fighting for equality, I see dividing our society. It's the first step in the fall of every community since the dawn of time. How can pointing out and raving about all of our differences result in equality of outcome? I don't think it can.....there just seems to be some kind of cognitive behavioral disfunction in that theory. "Equal to" is not synonymous with "the same as", not even in mathematics. Yes, we are ALL equal, but we are not the same. We compliment each other, whether its race, gender, or what have you. I think we should embrace those differences. Who the heck wants some colorless, androgynous society...bleh. THAT is my biggest fear lol.
Of course, everything you mentioned are battles worth fighting....but some of the stuff going on is just bananas!! For example, your not going to legislate me into what language I can use unless it comes from a hateful place. That's just wrong. Stop wasting our money in parliament with meaningless discussion and focus on something productive. While we are at it, give full control of the lands promised to First Nations and let them open it for development. What do we have to lose? Tax revenue? Job creation?? Peace??“Things aren’t that bad”
My guy, you need to look into what’s happening. Start with missing and murdered indigenous women, move on to the opioid crisis...etc
I’m never gonna stop fighting for what’s right just because things could be worse
If your talking about Russia ,under Stalin, the estimate was approximately 16 million starved to death, although those numbers are very questionable due to the lack of records. Not if you're a white man lmao!!! We have to keep paying for the crimes of our forefathers.....and paying....and paying.....and paying. Thank the Lord black Americans rose up, raised their own army and fought their very own war to abolish slavery. 30 million of my people (mostly white btw) were starved to death and annexed out of their homes in the worst case if genocide in human history. This latest starvation happened from 1932-1933. That's right...ONE YEAR!! Barely a blink from the global community. In fact, my people have been persecuted and murdered since...well....forever. Then my family came to Canada and purchased a small farm, which would be somewhere within current Calgary city limits. Anyway....here comes WWII.....land was seized by the government and the men were thrown in concentration camps to perform forced labor (i.e. slavery), until the end of the war. The land was never returned of course and never so much as an "oops, sorry about that" from the Canadian Government. My great grandfather returned home with one of his brother's to begin anew...again. A little while later they found their other brother living in a hole he had dug into the bank of the Saskatchewan River, completely mad from whatever happened to him. He spent his the rest of his days wandering around town calling for his childhood horse, which was slaughtered in front of him by the Russians. I've never gotten a job because I am a white man.....but I've been denied a few because I am a white man, even when I am far more qualified for the position. I feel a lot of things....privilege doesn't appear to be one of them. What could a white man know about persecution??? Educate yourself about what's goin on in the world instead of living in your own little bubble of self pity.
And a tip of my morning coffee mug to you sir!... Now shut up and enjoy the freaking coffee....

Every people and culture has their horror stories, some more recent than others....
If I’m guessing right.....we both don’t have to look very far to get a first hand story of the great starvation of Stalin. You're right, the records for Holodomor are sparce and the numbers are always changing. It depends who you ask and who you believe....but the second part I quoted is the important part. EXACTLY!! Every people and culture has their horror stories!! So let's drop the "who suffered more" crap and work on the future. I'm glad someone got it!
