That is what it became known as in August, 2005, in SF when 10 AMP's were raided and shut down. Now you guys have your own version to deal with. I truly hope it turns out better up there than it has here.
Here, there were over 100 arrests and about 70 deportations. A lot of the litigations are still in process of being resolved. Mostly, the focus was on human trafficking and there were several girls who were offered Green Cards in return for testimony.
The end result: 8 of the 10 AMP's have reopened with very poor selection and older SP's. THe best place ever here, Golden Flower, will never re-open as it is being remodelled for some other sort of business.
Lately, the focus has shifted south of SF to the San Jose/Santa Clara area where lots of AAMP's (that's micros to those of you there) are located.
It is a bit ironic to me that both of these events happened on a Thursday. Now it is up to one of you to give a name to the event....Sorry, Black Thursday is already taken.
But, for all of you, and the girls especially, I hope that all ends well.
