Hello everyone!

Continuing my inquiries into the world of larger expenditures, I'm looking for tips and hints on the best deals in town for nice stuff!

What I'm looking for right now is a new bedroom set.... starting with a double sized frame and followed by a twin sized foam bed (firm, 3 or 4 layer foam...not those crappy ones). I like the really firm foamies... easy to care for, no uncomfortable box springs, no high end nasty prices like pillow top etc... I don't like to sink into a mattess...

I'm starting off with Ikea for the frame and the Mattress Factory (north van) for the actual er... mattress.

Given it's been years since I did anything like this, if anyone has any better places to check out I'd certainly love to hear from you!

Cant say I am of any help, I pretty much did my whole place from Ikea.

Might want to try The Brick, Costco, or just look in the yellow pages:p

i checked out the Brick, Stokes, etc etc etc and got prices on what i wanted and ended up getting it at Sears!

The other place to try is the Bay, particularly their 'discount' section ... stuff can get marked way down and is still worth considering.

The other way to go is all top-end and have less but know its good for the duration.

Well if it is a bed frame your looking for why not try places such as United Furniture Warehouse, Leon's Furniture (if you have them) where you are I picked up 2 for $ 190.00 Just a thought:)

sleep country canada....why buy a mattress anywhere else
LMFAO funny:)

Get creative and build a wooden frame with closed in sides.
Advantage: No squeeks when you go like a bunny, and dust bunnies are hidden.
Disadvantage: If you don't sand it well enough, every time you slide out of bed you get splinters in your ass.
