What do you think the best bar/lounge is in Vancouver? I like Opus and Lamplighter. Even Sharks is good.

good job giddyup. What about the place in the basement of Chill Winston. I have spent many hours in Subeez at the bar.

You see there's so many good places to hang out in beautiful Vancouver based on the favorite list of the ladies and gentlemen above from Chill Winston to Subeez to the Keefer.

For me, there's the Lobby Lounge of the Fairmont Pacific Rim and the XI SHI Lounge of the Shangrila Hotel. The Reflections Rooftop Bar/Lounge of Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Great cocktails at the YEW and Chambar. So far, the Opus Bar and the Keefer is a pretty consistent hangout of lots of Vancouver hotties. However, compared to Opus Montreal, the KOKO Restaurant Bar is equally hip but way livelier. :) :)

Subeez is a great hang (sit at the bar. Some amazing scenery there. There is one bartender/watiress there behind the bar that seriously makes me wanna chew my arm off.....stunning......she favors skimpy, skimpy wear. Dig it) Many more I like but those are off top of head.

I know exactly who you are talking about ... tall, copper hair color, tits to die for.... I was sitting at the bar several months ago on a slow night and we chatted a fair bit - she is a serious babe.

I also like the Keefer, Chill Winston, Guilt, The Cascade Room and most of the others mentioned. A very cool place i recently found is called The Narrow Room off of Main - the only way you would ever find this place is to find a pic of the entrance on the web - there is no sign - just a red light over a sketchy entrance in a shitty looking alley which leads down into a basement room under a shitty building. The room is very cool and cocktails are great. I also highly recommend the Revel Room in Gastown - fresh baked warm chocolate chip cookies at 1:00 am for free - fucking eh! It is also where a lot of restaurant industry folks hang out - i.e. off-duty hot waitresses having a cocktail.

Any place with good music?

Can anyone suggest a bar/lounge with some good music?
I know "good" is subjective, something like this
http://www.kcrw.com/music/programs/no

Just got back from the Fairmont Pacific Rim lounge.
It is a stylish place and people are well dressed.
However, that was the worst long island ice tea I've ever had. So much for the price.

Average age was around 40 years old and could barely hear any music.
At the bar, there were few tanned middle-aged men with trying to pick up any females sitting at the bar. Not saying it's a bad thing, just writing what I saw. Unless you sit by your own group at the table and have fun by yourselves, the place doesn't have much to offer in terms of drink or vibe except the stylish interior design.

Well, I would appreciate any tip for a place with good music and vibe.

Good night!
