My buddy said they told a girl he was dating he went there….AVOID THEM
Women that work in the sex trade are highly correlated with psychopathy. If ANY escort knows your real name or ANY real info about you they might attempt to use it against you somehow. This is a dark and dangerous fact.
"Other studies revealed that women engaging in transactional sexual relationships showed clinical symptoms of antisocial/psychopathic personality disorder (Brody and Potterat, 2010;Edwards and Verona, 2016;Edwards, 2017). Moreover, Brody et al. (2005) explicitly suggest that due to the social conditions and psychodynamics characteristic to transactional sex, prostitutes meet virtually all diagnostic criteria of antisocial personality disorder as defined in the DSM-IV (American Psychiatric Association, 1994)"

Of course this doesn't apply to ALL escorts.

Thanks for doing your homework that was very interesting. I don’t do my house or use my personal number so hopefully it never happens to me

Yeah I was naive to how common it is for sex workers to be high in psychopathy until I read it on another forum and then I looked it up. There was a plethora of studies linking a high correlation to psychopathy and sex work. I'm now VERY careful if I ever deal with escorts and won't casually do it anymore. I will only visit legitimately hot 🔥 ones and avoid sketchy ones.

This thread is extremely disheartening because I love working at bunnies and I wouldn’t have any boyfriends if it wasn’t for them.

It’s tricky to retain good hearted girls in this industry. If the girl is hired and seems good but we find out that she struggles with substances, alcohol or is untrustworthy and immature, we will try and work with her.

However, if we are finding that we are getting pulled down with her and she’s not wanting to be a better person then she will be let go; Psychopaths and Sociopaths included.

Unfortunately retaliation can follow.

If these posts are legitimate concerns, I encourage anyone to speak up. If management isn’t aware of the issues, they can’t address them. And if your coworkers don’t know, then we can’t try and help.

We aren’t perfect but we sure as heck try our best.

Thanks for stepping up but what I read means there’s no privacy for the men visiting. I’m not taking a chance I won’t visiting the BB

I feel bad about this thread. Some of these comments are pretty harsh. Although I've only been to BB once, based on the experience I had I don't believe this thread accurately reflects the sentiments of the majority of clients.

Hi there! Another current BB girl here who would like to weigh in on this. The article you are referencing (Brody, S., & Potterat, J. J, 2010), actually appears to no longer be registered with its designated federation, and thus can no longer be fully accessed for a full-text analysis. If we use our contextual clues, it can be assumed that the article was removed for errors in findings or a lack thereof. The quote you included was a mere snippet of the abstract which does not include important information such as the research methods which would include domains such as sample size and mode of delivery. Were there 7 women tested? 17? 1,700? Was it an interview? A blind study? A double-blind study? Was it cross-sectional? Longitudinal? If your best argument is from an article that has been completely removed for full view from the public and you remain unable to answer any of those questions, I suggest you find another angle. Within the science community, this argument, put in my most kind words, is rubbish. In fact, according to a large study done by BMC Women’s Health (2017) published to the National Library of Medicine, of the sex workers who reported ever being diagnosed with a mental health issue “the most common diagnoses [were] depression (35.1%) and anxiety (19.9%).” In other words, the prevalence of antisocial personality disorder and psychopathy is peanuts compared to depression and anxiety. Here’s the best part: of the most abundant mental health issues (depression and anxiety) do you know which industries still take the cake? Male dominated industries. The distribution of the population by industry with depression was as follows: services 49.1 %, manufacturing 24.2 %, wholesale and retail trade 8.6 %, health care and social assistance 7.9 %, transportation, warehousing and utilities 5.6 % (Dtsch Arztebl Int, 2022). For this study, the “services” industry included a multitude of specific occupations, none of which were sex work (you can go ahead and find the table yourself in this article and research the actual male vs female dominance in each category of “services” just like I did). If we're really going to boil down why some women in the sex industry may suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD or any other mental illness (just like men in any other industry) I urge you to go ahead and read the stats of sexual violence against female sex workers. It really doesn’t take much effort to put two and two together. If you want to talk about mental health, let’s talk about mental health. However, your garbage comment about “psychopathy” and playing it up to be something so large which really only represents a teeny weenie minority of all sex workers comes off as a bigot, misogynistic and downright chauvinist claim. My bosses are of the most kind and supportive people out there and the ladies I have gotten to know here personally have become important bonds in my life.

Ugh NO. Psychopathy and sex work is well studied by many clinicians.

Some of these articles aren’t even about psychopathy, some of them are about other mental health issues or drug issues. And you included 2 different links to the same article? 😂 I assume you did not, but I actually have access to open each of these studies for the full-text (again, not just the abstract) and the sample sizes are laughably small, restricted to one geographic location, and very few of the correlation coefficients are actually promising. Go ahead and take a look yourself, I only saw like two of them that gave results over a 0.7 (that’s poo). Tell me though, when did you get your degree in psych? No? Then move on my friend. 💕

In accord with other research and the model for the ZKPQ, the results suggest that prostitutes are characterized by antisocial personality traits.

Women who had engaged in direct sex work were higher in drug dependence and psychopathy compared to those who had not engaged in direct sex work

This study used a large sample of incarcerated women (n = 310) on associations among psychopathic traits, substance use, and prostitution
