I need to vacate the premises from which i now reside. Mom wants me out. LOL I though seriously of buying but have for now ruled it out.

I can find an apartment no problem, but one that has lots of storage is proving to be impossible.

I have so much sports gear and hobbie equipment that i may have to rent extra storage. I have 2 mountain bikes, 2 sets of hockey gear, (one ice, one inline) I have 3 sailboards with enough masts, sails, and booms that in itself would load up a van. I have kitesailing gear of which i haven't even used this year. Golf gear (I don't even golf) fishing gear, baseball gear, radio controlled airplanes and parts from days gone past, exercise bike, heart rate monitor, a kit to build a real cool old spanish galleon, (it cost $750, it seemed like a good idea at the time.) and thats just of the top of my head. What am i going to do? Anyone want to buy my junk?:( --- Kev

Garage sale/ ebay it.

There was an article in today's paper about a guy who will take it for you and ebay it... all you do is drop it off and collect a cheque if it sells (he keeps a percentage of what sells).

Easy and no hassle.

Moving has a wonderful way of forcing clarity of focus and paring down on all the crap we all have hanging around.

Four months after I turned 18, I was more or less forced to move out on my own.

Man... the crap I unburdened myself of. Most of it high quality crap (at least in my mind)... but crap notwithstanding.

Definitely e-bay what you don't want to keep. I've e-bayed all sorts of "junk" and there always seems to be someone out there that wants it. One man's junk is another man's jewelry.

Can you provide details on your baseball gear? Also, I am looking for a new putter as my other three aren't really helping my game right now - let me know on that too.

Perhaps your mom will let you stay at your house if you promise to only see SPs from now on at their place - instead of calling them on an outcall to your house at all hours of the night? LOL :D :D :D

I saw a thing on the news where there are company's out there that will sell your items on ebay for you. They just charge a commission on the selling price. Might be a good idea with all the stuff you want to get rid of.

Clubs

Are your golf clubs unisex clubs or male clubs? 5'2" Women usually play better with a shorter club. If you're the average tall male about 6'1", then you will have tall clubs. The in between height clubs, I call them the unisex clubs, for example for the 5'7" crowd.
Were your clubs matched to your height and wingspan or were they generic unisex clubs?

Yes, I've swung at a few balls in my lifetime.

Don't forget about the shafts too PinkLady ;)

Men's clubs usually have stiffer shafts :D

All about the feel.

Length of clubs can be gleaned instantly, but stiffness can be important also.
Yes stiffness comes into play, but usually much later for the intermediate golfing lady.

Unless it is a putter, where all rules are thrown out the window. Some girls have $500 putters, some have $9 putters.
For the putter, it is all about the feel.

I am probably playing to an 18 right now. I shot 96 at Morgan Creek yesterday from the blue tees. Trying to get down to a 15/16 like I was last year. Let's try to get a round in one of these day massageseeker.

Sounds good. . I think 15/16 may be a push for me this year .. things are getting better .. Shot 97 at Point Roberts last week and 105 at Bear Mountain Victoria ... 94 Langara but I have onnly been out a few more times.. under 20 .. that includes 5 or 6 before summer started. ..

Don't worry too much about your cap ... the scores in my foursome yesterday were 96, 99, 107 and 135. Two from the blues and two from the whites. It is just fun to get out on the links and in our case we would have something in common to talk about. :D

Are you still going to be able to afford all your hobbies and the "hobby now that you will be out on your own?

If i had 20 sets of clubs from the response i received i could unload them all.

I better ask my friends about those clubs. This may sound silly but i don't ever remember buying golf clubs or having a set given to me. I know they've been in my possession for years, but i got a feeling my one of my friends is missing a set. There Ping. Is that a good brand? --- Kev

Nothing wrong with PING clubs....they are a very nice brand. If I didnt buy a brand new set of Callaways I'd offer to take em off your hands! :)

Ping are old news, has-been, out-of-date clubs. I'll offer you $ 100.00. :D
