It is a good venue, especially if it is a nice night. The shows I have seen there did not sell beer which was a drag. There is a bar/restaurant right beside it in Stanley Park that is a good place to drink on the deck before the show - get there a bit early.
There is paid parking nearby (same place you would park if you have ever been to the Stanley Park train). One tip, if it is raining, they do not let you take an umbrella in with you (at least in my experience). Both times that has happened to me, I had to ditch it in the bushes until after the show, but I did get it back both times.
Have a great time, I think you will like it. Last show I saw there was Franz Ferdinand in the pissing rain but it was a great show nonetheless.
