Too many chicks wearing those ballerina slippers or doll shoes. C'mon ladies, I want you back in those sexy heels.

The schoolboy dress shirt/tie/cardigan look being sported by the young nerdy types is kinda silly.

Are you going to massage my feet when they end up looking like this?

I'd love to see you guys wear anything that's remotely as inconvenient or painful for the sake of looking hot to women!... Yeah, sure... like that's ever going to happen anytime soon! ;) :p

I'll wear 'em if you take me out for dinner but don't expect me to wear them to walk my dog around the block... just cause you say it's hot. Sorry mister, I'll be wearing the ballet flats for that one ;) - which btw, I think can be much hotter than the chick who's wearing the HOT HOT high heels BUT doesn't know how to walk properly with 6 inch heels! - THAT makes me laugh every time..

yah, that's so HOT. :p LOL

hehe

I like the way spikey heels make women's legs and butts more attractive, but the shoes are so uncomfortable that the women get cranky after a while. I like women who aren't cranky, so bring on the running shoes, sandals, slides, and barefeet. :) Most ladies know how to dress for the occasion...better than many guys. I see many guys wearing running shoes with dress pants. Maybe there are too many hosers around here.:p

Personally i luv ridiculously hi heels but with the exception of 1 pair that i can actually walk in, the rest are strictly for posing..preferably horizontal.

You should be careful with ballet flats too as many of them have thin soles:

From the link Miss*Bijou posted:
Shoes with "pointed toes, shoes with thin soles, and shoes with high spike heels'' are of the cruel variety, according to the Web site of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, because they can "cause crowding of the toes and increased pressure,'' which can result in hammertoes and bunions.

So don't automatically assume that any low-heel shoe is good for you. Make sure it has good arch support.

Agree.. On top of having low arches, I messed up my feet even more a few years ago wearing bad bad shoes while I was working in restaurants and on my feet for long hours. So now I usually wear insoles to make it a little less painful and well, those tend to be hard to wear with most high heels on top of making it even more painful  which is why I might be a little grumpy about them! LOL Flip flops are bad for that too... but I've been wearing those all summer (and feeling it too! LOL). But my ballet flats have been feeling great cause I can hide those little insoles for better comfort (and better mood!). hehe

Funny thing though, is I just wrote this a couple days ago and went shopping yesterday... and bought, yes, a pair of high heels :D But I have to say, these are actually more comfortable than most regular shoes I've ever bought! Cushioned soles and all.. I may wear them to walk the dog today. :D (not quite, but almost!:p )

Seriously though, the store I went to had a bunch of seriously comfortably padded heels available.. I think I may have to change my feelings about this and test out a few of them soon.

Oddly enough I met a street worker once who *had* to wear high heels even in cold weather. Her feet had adapted to them to such an extent that ordinary shoes were too uncomfortable.

I'll tell you what a disturbing fashion trend is... the fact that a majority of men's clothing in stores looks like it's designed for guys with a 12 year olds body. I mean, the stuff is so darn thin, even a petite/spinner chick would look fat in most of the fashionable garmets made these days for guys.

What on earth are healthy sized guys supposed to wear?
