Sorry Alexboy, if you don't like the way a thread is going, don't read it, there's no such thing as telling everyone to "drop it' because you think there has been enough said, even though you started it. Once pandoras box has been opened, there's no way out, except deletion. I realize you are new and probably do not realize that, but now you know.
I have booked my flight to Thailand through them in October so I am crossing my fingers that they don't go belly up.
My friend works at the air miles office and she says the CEO and everyone on down are total pricks who just don't care about customer service at all, let alone their employes. They get timed on their bathroom breaks even! It's no wonder that attitude carries on down to every level. But she did assure me that there is no way AC will go under and surprisingly it is the air miles program that is the only thing making money right now. I don't get that at all, but apparently it is keeping them afloat. She said it was the buyout that fell through, that made this seem a crisis, when there was no crisis before the attempted buyout. It is all a hype I guess. Politics!
PS daddywarbucks, that sounds terrible, I would DIE if I didn't get fed for 22 hours. They could have picked up some kind of food, anything for christ sake! Did you sue? I guess the silver lining is that it is better the galley not work, than the engines!
