Are some "micros" more reliable than others?
Are any of the pictures (e.g. on erslist) actually accurate? (for example, there's a fabulously cute photo of a Korean girl named Kiki -- is this too good to be true, or what?)
Can a caucasian guy (like myself) expect any sort of problem from an Asian micro?
One thing I like to do is google any phone number given on these ads, to see if there is other info to be found (this has led to discovering previously unknown red flags). But some numbers don't have any google result.
