Saw two ladies this week. Linda at Sunhope on Ness and Bierra at Monarch on Main. Big props to keta for the recommendations. Both ladies were great. I'm mainly a deep tissue massage guy and the HE is the icing on the cake and both ladies did a great job.
Linda - saw her first. She said she was the manager and usually only works by advance appointment. I asked to walk on back so they put me in the room with bars on the ceiling. I always ask for more pressure and she delivered. Comparable to the massages I've had in Vancouver. Linda said she used to be a nurse or worked at a hospital in China so she knows how to work your muscles and other parts of the anatomy... I paid $90 upfront for 90 min massage and another $60 for tips at the end. They have a shower in the back but I wouldn't do that again because it's in their staff room/kitchen. As Arnold once said "I'll be back"...
Bierra - booked a midday, midweek massage and when I got there looked like they had 3 girls working. Also put me in the room with bars on the ceiling. Back was a little tight so Bierra upsold me on some Chinese medicine that she rubbed into my back with the massage. Pressure was good and strong, just how I like it. Paid the same $90 for 90 mins and $60 for tip. She charged me an extra $20 for the Chinese medicine which I will not do again. Smelled too much. Probably won't repeat any time soon because the location is too far and Linda is much closer and just as good massage.
