That's not entirely true. Some tires have stuff like walnut shell or silicon or other materials to help grip ice even though they don't have studs. Also, the design of the tread with multiple saw tooth edges also helps with ice traction.

If the session is any good, I have absolutely no idea what music was playing. Or if music was playing at all. The only exception was the one time Closer by Nine Inch Nails came on, it's the perfect song at a certain point!

KO2 is a good multi use tire but on the prairies I've always run studded tires for the last 15 years. My Nokians are awesome, come from factory with the toughest studs that never fall out. Also, worked at a Kal Tire they're no worse or better on average than anybody else.

I'd agree with the poster above. Nice big naturals but a bit heavier than the pics. Price was very reasonable for quickie, and good attitude even though it was a quick session.
