    Honda, I've watched that show many times and I think the same thing... Before you can think of moving away you gotta have some major cash saved up...
    That being said, I have entertained the thought of teaching in Thailand. At least I would earn a bit of money (maybe 1000 to 2000 USD a month) and be able to stay long-term since working.
    All I need is a teaching certificate....which is about 6 to 8 weeks of school and couple thousand bucks. I missed the boat in Vancouver real estate wise...and don't believe in buying high and hoping things go higher...

    Do you ever watch HGTV House Hunters or House Hunter International and think about leaving Vancouver? Your city is sooo expensive for a modest house and yet half the year its rain and clouds. I watch it and I want to move to year round sun and go on that show.

    If you can live with the terrible viewing angles of top LEDs I would check into it, I would like to sell both my Plasmas for another high end LED but everyone out there offers you ridiculous offers so I quit.

    Honda...I didn't get a TV set...I wanted a Panasonic ST series Plasma...but they just ran out all over town...so in waiting mode here...

    Dude, what set did you get? I just returned a 2011 top for the line D8000 LED for a refurbished 2010 top C8000 cause the 2011 D series SUCKS! This is Samsung. I told you they make changes every year in picture. But I did buy the 4 year warranty on the used one I got. Avoid 2011 Samsungs they are dim and very bad picture.

    I will buy a new TV next week LAG...I am not sold on 3d TV though...unless you plan on playing video games, I don't see the point to them...

    Yeah, it is 3D TV. I now prefer LEDs, just remember off axis viewing is not as good as Plasma though. What did you end up with?

    Both LED and Plasma have their strengths weakness, I just picked up leftover 2010 Samsung LED the UN46C8000 today at half off sticker. If I were you I would pay up for the Samsung 7 or 8 series Plasma or LED and for Panasonic the VT series. But be prepared to spend a lot of time tweaking the settings.

    Most people dont like Plasma, dimmer than LED but more true life color. Good luck.

    Lonely my ass, thats why tube8.com is for LOL. Anyway, I've had Plasma all the time, do you research, I use to be a bit of a HDTV geek and these sets from brands make changes thru the years. Some years the model is brighter or dimmer. I get all my info from AVS.com. The 2011 Plasma are dimmer than 2010 because of Energy saving regulations. They are not all the same.

    I knew something was off with Cain. He was too heavy and slightly soft (that didn't sound right). Turns out he had a knee injury and was able to train like he normally does. I told all my buddies to stay away from betting that fight. I kicked ass on Demarcus by KO and Bendo....easy pickins :nod:
