What do you guys do for a living to afford this?

I’m curious what everyone here does for a living to afford this hobby. And do the girls actually care what you do for work, or is that not really a factor for them?

In the past, I was doing sales work that allowed me to afford most of this, but I’ve taken a break from it for a while. With a regular job, it’s not so easy to spend this kind of money consistently.

The sales business eventually reached a stage where I needed a partner to help take it to the next level, but I haven’t been able to find the right person to move forward with.

Another thing I’ve been thinking about is that there are a few girls I’ve met through this hobby whom I genuinely like. I’d be interested in building something more with one of them, potentially even a relationship that could lead to more. But I’d also want a partner who supports my ambitions and is willing to contribute in some way, even if it’s just helping me make time for my sales business and grow it again. Could that possibly happen?

What do you guys do to afford this hobby long-term, and have any of you found that a girl you met through this scene was genuinely interested in building a life with you beyond the timed encounters?

I could say, but it's a rare position to boast about on forums such as these. I will say, it's a job that requires a lot of travel within the province, it's a suit and tie job, and it pays over 6 figures.

And do the girls actually care what you do for work, or is that not really a factor for them?
In my experience, the answer is both... some girls are in the game to get their bills paid and could care less about who they service, as long as they are clean, healthy, and respectful.... Other girls, tend to be in the game for 'the scene'; the high-life, the exotic, the importance... Some girls want a particular type of clientele, exclusive to lawyers, celebrities, doctors, CEOs, brokers. Even though you could pay their rates no problem, or saved your pennies long enough to meet those rates, sometimes that certain provider isn't interested in servicing some blue-collar average joe who got lucky in poker. They're looking for access to elitism.... not to say they won't service you either, at best you 'could' get service from such girls, but it'll lack chemistry, no passion, regardless whatever you get would not worth their VIP rates....

Another thing I’ve been thinking about is that there are a few girls I’ve met through this hobby whom I genuinely like. You're asking for two different things here... 1) "Can I do my job while in a relationship?", and 2) "Can I grow a relationship with a provider?"

And the answer that is 1) "Yes", and 2) "Yes, but"....

....there's a lot of nuances that go along with being in a relationship with a provider. Some of which requires extra vetting beyond what how you do it with a regular person. Trust is paramount more than ever in such a situation. Since you'll be in competition with her clientele, the 'seedy underworld' of the sex trade, while also realizing that "common law rights" are just as concrete as if you were to be married too. Which means if things fall apart, you're on the hook for more than you know..... you either can get a "Pretty Woman" situation, or a "Casino" situation....

Stop this line of thought right now.
This kind of fantasy will only lead to problems.
It does happen but is so rare that it is statistically irrelevant.
I have a couple of retired ladies as friends but it is ABSOLUTELY hands off.

I'm a Butcher, which I think counts as a "living wage". So no, I cannot afford it much.

I would be curious to know how many guys live in their parents basement, so they can afford SP sessions all the time.

Just like guys who do that so they can afford other luxuries. A job they actually like, travel, restaurants, nice car, whatever other passion.

I have a big advantage in that I do travel for work and have my food and lodgings covered by the company. Shockingly, it's a blue collar job, but I have been around long enough to be listed near the top of the seniority list.

Even if your sales business is a door to door condom merchant DON'T DO THIS. Keep business and pleasure far apart. Escorts are for casual sex and companionship. They can be fun, social, and even therapy, but don't confuse any of this with real life.

If you want a life partner use the dating apps or any other traditional way to meet people.

If you partake in this hobby expecting emotional intimacy and feel you are building something with the girls you see, you are in for a world of pain and hurt my friend. These girls are running a business. Just like when a waitress is nice to you, they're just doing their job.

Why are you telling an SP what you do for a living? If you say anything at all, be vague.

What you are attracted to are the persona they feed to you. You do not get to see their day to day, and that is probably for the best. You may not like them if you knew them for who they truly are and how they live their life outside of this work.
As a result, I would not recommend.

Be friends if they want to be friends, but do not be looking for a life partner.

These SPs are mainly here to make money. From talking to some of these girls, I honestly don’t think most of them are looking for, or are even in a position to commit to, a “real” romantic relationship outside of work. I imagine it can be difficult to transition back to civilian life and settle into a more conventional lifestyle, especially when they’re used to the money, gifts, and attention. Some might also find it difficult to adjust to being with just one guy. I’ve also heard that the industry can become addictive for some of them because of the money they make and the expensive gifts they receive from their sponsors. On top of that, some are willing to do things for money that I won’t even get into here. So yeah, just be careful and don’t get too emotionally invested. Some can be very convincing and know exactly how to play their cards. At the end of the day, you never really know someone’s intentions, so keep your guard up.

An easy to understand comparison is people working in bars/nightclubs. Lots of casual sex, drugs, drama, and money that gets blown way too easily. Knew lots of people in the industry -- some family worked in clubs, I dated some ladies who worked in bars/clubs and had male friends who talked about the whole scene they worked in.

It is addictive and it really doesn't do much for relationships/family etc.

I can't imagine what the sex industry does to people.

Sorry, I own a nice house but it doesn't have a basement.

In my case, I never married so no divorce to wipe out half of what I own. No kids either so never had to pay for all of that stuff. No drugs, no gambling, no boats, no exotic cars, no other expensive hobbies except this one.

I have a small pension, not many expenses and some investments that I want to spend.

Yeah, I was speaking from personal experience. Been there, done that recently lol. Financially, I’m okay, so I didn’t exactly drain my wallet 😂 But the whole experience took more of an emotional toll on me than I expected. Apparently, that girl found a new SD and just went cold on me lol

I haven't seen any girl in the past 6 months.
I felt like I needed to start a side hustle as a hobby. Otherwise, it's just too costly for any middle-class man. I haven't even explored any elite or higher-tier escorts. I also think the market downturn means I see fewer quality providers than before, because of the economy. One thing I want to mention is that emotional addiction is no joke. 99.9% of the time, this activity involves no real emotion or connection. She's just a good actress with a good work ethic most of the time.
