Curious if anyone has come across a similar situation before (I feel like I’ve seen it in the past but can’t find it).

I recently met a very low-volume lady with a day job, who is thinking to leave this biz, and she asked if I’d consider a sugar relationship with meets several times a month. I can afford the once a month sessions I enjoy now, but I don’t repeat very often so I declined initially because of the cost.

She’s in her 20s and I’m in my fifties and apparently I give off a “safe” vibe from what I’ve heard from a few of the ladies. Im quite attracted to her physically. We had a nice connection and, unusually for me, texted on and off and met socially once off the clock. She persisted in asking a few times over a few months and offered to negotiate an arrangement. I haven’t pursued that for a couple of reasons.

Number one is cost. I’d be squeezed for sure although I didn’t explore what she was willing to negotiate (i suspect more time for the same money but not 100% sure). I have a partner so I’m careful to squirrel my money away in inconspicuous amounts over time.
Number two is feelings. I like connecting so I do enjoy building a bit of connection in sessions…but I don’t repeat often because I worry about catching feelings. This lady brings out my protective and mentoring side which I feel could lead to too much connection lol

I’d prefer to continue with sessions when I want (pay per meet), but if she made a really good offer, I’d be tempted to try it for a bit to see how it worked out.

It’s a novel situation for me. Anyone experienced anything like this?

I did it once. It became an exclusive thing, she stopped taking other clients, I paid her rent and some other bills. we had dinner together several times a week, not always involving intimacy, but more like a girlfriend without the labels. I loved it, but it wasn't financially sustainable. Feelings definitely happened on both sides. Once a week at 400 isn't the same thing as 2500 or 3000 a month. Great run though, don't regret it, but not sure I'd go there again. She ended up with a much richer guy who could afford all of her needs, plus travel and other things I couldn't manage.

If you do it, you need good ground rules, open communications.

All this and if it becomes more than a few months as in a year or so, get some legal advice. There are cases when the 'mistress' makes significant claims.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It sounds like you had great time while it lasted. I think that’s ultimately what she would like; one guy to cover everything in an exclusive situation. Feelings or not, at the end of the day, it’s a business arrangement, ideally mutually beneficial - but feelings still happen.

Cost benefit analysis of ppm versus sugar arrangements are only worthwhile if you are interested in establishing a exclusive long term relationship with her or if she is leaving the industry and it is the only way to maintain the connection. Otherwise, ppm is to your economic and situational advantage. You control the costs and schedule.

Moreover, two major issues in play for you personally. One is your limited and secret cash flow concerns. The second being a significant other to keep in the dark. Maintaining the ppm relationship is clearly in your best interests. I’d suggest to never full out reject the idea either. Best to keep it on good terms until your hand is forced to give a definitive no.

I have seen both successes and failures with these kind of arrangements, so will flirt with sugar-like relationships but avoid heavy support/dependance. The arrangements that have seemed to work longer term are the ones where daddy has very deep pockets and the arrangement will not stress him financially. So a sprinkle of icing sugar vs. a pound of the heavy sweets for most pooners.

Just writing it down was enough to clear my head. But I’m still curious if others have had some experiences like that, but having actually gone through with the arrangement

I couldn't see a girl that often and not catch feelings. I used to be a sugar daddy, but if I were to do it again it would have to be more like "having a girlfriend who likes to be spoiled and taken care of" dynamic rather than a "sex subscription". Its hard to not catch feelings when there is chemistry and compatability but on the flip side its hard to enjoy sex regularly with someone you do not have any chemistry or compatability with...

The only daddy / baby cases I’ve seen personally have had a giant age gap ( although I know that’s obviously not always the case )

Still , on the off chance if your only looking for a 10 yr age difference w a hookup arrangement you can find that easily w online dating apps and a bit of time and effort ( certainly less time and effort than the price tag attached to a baby arrangement).

I’d be curious about your experience.
There’s several forums on Reddit including one that includes babies and Daddies both sharing experiences,
Plus one daddy only and one baby only ,
Took me 90 seconds to find it on Google
The. Babies one is full of trash talking the daddies ,
FYI , the entire industry seems to have plenty of scammers and frauds on both sides .

Basically a lot of hidden costs, car payments, phone bills, she wants to got to a music festival or an exotic location etc. and even if you do pay up, there’s also emotional labor similar to that of a bf etc which is the worst part really. Might as well get a wife or a gf at this point.
This sounds very similar to my experience in a long-term arrangement. The first three months was best part of the relationship. Having an intimate relationship built on strong attraction and emotional connection is absolutely worth it and something I will cherish forever. But it didn’t last for long. You do end up being like a BF where you are providing financial AND emotional support. The latter costs you even more! And at end of the day, she gets best of both worlds. A BF who she can vent to about her tiny problems, ask for help whenever she is stuck (car needs fixing) and help for her luxury lifestyle (asking for money for things like doing nails, going to concert with friend etc.). The financial part I don’t mind as it’s expected being a sugar daddy. But it’s the emotional toll of her asking constantly for one thing or another which is the real challenge. Sometimes your day is busy and doing all these tiny things to help her at any hour of the day is very disruptive.
It does seem worth it though initially esp if she is pretty. Also, as others said, you never know if she is truly exclusive to you or seeing other guys which makes it even less worth it.

I have never and would never indulge in sugar baby culture.
I do know several women who do this, and these are the facts that come from ALL of these women:
- They consider this a business
- They all take measures to limit emotional attachment
- They all entertain between 2-5 "Daddies"
- All trash talk daddies and/or the people in daddies life.
-They all feel entitled to Daddies money and resources.

This based upon what I know from the women I know

I am sorry but if any man sees this as no different than a normal relationship, in my opinion, you are just as shallow as the women you are seeing
Yes shallow or lacking any significant substance.

Those types of sugar babies are so common and they make me sick lol. I cannot stand super fake people. I know SWs have to fake-nice with clients but sugar babies on a money mission take it to a whole new level and view you and treat you as nothing more than an ATM covered in feces.

I’m gunna bet She copy pasted her question to all her other “safe” clients

Only do what you think makes sense for you.
Do ever pay anything in advance

anything that is “ongoing “ has a way higher risk than 1 offs of you’re in a relationship

Don’t do it
