Hey guys,
I’ll be honest — I’ve been scammed more times than I’d like to admit and wasted a pretty unhealthy amount of money along the way. Not proud of it, but it did teach me a lot the hard way.
Over time, I started noticing patterns — what to look for, what to avoid, and how to tell the difference between someone legit and someone who’s just trying to take your money. Just sharing this so maybe someone else doesn’t have to learn it the same way I did.
For context, I personally prefer more submissive easygoing, polite providers — not into rushed or attitude-heavy experiences — so keep that in mind.
1. Spa vs Leolist listings
From my experience, places like spas tend to be more consistent. They have a reputation to maintain, so there’s at least some level of accountability. Independent listings can be great too, but a lot of times, if something looks too good to be true, it usually is. Learned that the hard way.
2. Always check reviews
This one probably saved me the most money. Before seeing anyone, I now check reviews on forums like PERB or CAF. I only started doing this recently, and honestly, it made a huge difference. For some reason CAF banned me like right after I made the account so I don’t know too much about that but perb is great.
3. Pay attention to how they communicate
This is a big one. If someone dodges simple questions, tries to rush you, or says things like “serious people don’t ask this much,” that’s usually a red flag. Specifically for leolist listings
Every bad experience I’ve had… looking back, the signs were already there. I just ignored them.
4. Don’t negotiate too much
I’ve tried negotiating before, and yeah, sometimes it “worked” — but the experience usually felt off. The more I pushed on price, the worse the overall vibe got.
Now I just stick to what I can afford and move on if it doesn’t fit.
5. Look for some kind of presence or consistency(Twitter)
If someone has reviews, a consistent profile, or even some kind of online presence, it helps. Doesn’t guarantee anything, but it lowers the risk.
Twitter from my experience has been the best one I never had bad experiences with any girl who had Twitter in her profile
Self-written claims or CAF screenshots alone don’t mean much.
6. Photo verification helps (sometimes)
If there’s no history or reviews, asking for a simple verification pic can help avoid obvious bait-and-switch situations. Not everyone will agree to it, but when they do, it’s a good sign.
7. Short sessions can be a safer start(15 mints)
Escorts don’t like it but If you’re unsure, starting with a shorter session (if offered) can help you get a feel before committing more time. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely saved me from going all-in on bad experiences.
Anyway, that’s just what I’ve learned from messing up more times than I should have.
Hopefully this helps someone avoid wasting time, money, and frustration like I did.
