Blows my mind how many people use sperm donors. If I were infertile, I would just accept life without kids. If you want to raise a stranger's kid that badly, just adopt.

The problem here is that its when the kids grow up and meet each other and they are half siblings. Instead of a simple blood test for marriage, you will need a DNA test to see if you are related. Netflix documentary: 2 kids in elementary school, having different families find out they are half siblings.
Fertility clinics in Europe have this same problem. The thing there is the sperm donors are blocked by the clinics, now go online, and have actual intercourse with the women wanting babies.
Again Tall muscular blonde blue eyed men are perferred ..... oops that is WW2 Germany again.... These women/couples are looking to improve their offsprings genetics.

I feel like you have to be really unlucky for this to happen though. There are so many potential people to date out there, what are the chances you meet you half-sibling. I'm sure it happened somewhere, but must be rare

I don't think it a racism thing. The women are just trying to make sure their kid has better genetics and or looks. Lets just say that in todays world if you are beautifull, your kid will have the leg up on ugly kids...
