Most Malaysians have Chinese ethnicity. Or is mixed with Chinese (ie. Thai, Filipinos, Singaporean, etc). So maybe that's why.
As for the new location. I'm personally not a fan. Parking isn't easy, but available if you're willing to park far away and walk.
If you go later at night, you have to wait outside in a back lane to be let in. Not an issue when it's warmer. But when it's -30C and you're standing outside like an idiot for ten minutes......it's not too pleasant. And since it's a back lane, I can see it being a safety concern for some people. It's a pretty big and lit back lane to be fair. But we also live in Winnipeg......
And apparently the neighbors are already complaining about the noise. I forgot the girls name, but she pretty much made me do soft sneaky steps as I walked through the corridor and in her unit like I'm a freakin burglar all while whispering. And yes, even inside her unit. I couldn't really get into it because it just felt like we were sneaking around the whole time. I'm guessing the sound dampening in that building is garbage or they already have some asshole neighbors that like to complain.
I personally didn't hear anything from the neighbors/next door so many that one particular girl was just exaggerating. But she legit seemed scared to make a peep the entire time so I'm guessing someone must've gone up to her and complained. And since she was tiny, she probably got super intimidated and scared from it.

I definitely like the polo location better but the new location I had no problem parking I parked right in front of the main door twice I was there went right through the front entrance . The nice thing about that location you go through a door and then you buzz in , you are out of the elements . Truly i think that’s better for parking then the downtown location sometimes you can’t find anything in front I have parked on the other side of broadway a few times . The summer it’s okay but when it’s minus 25 and that wind it’s not a pleasant walk . The things we do to get laid 🤪
