How Many PERB Members Use the Ad Sections On PERB?

I am genuinely curious about this as I keep seeing time and time again people complaining about Leo List and how many fake ads and scams are on there and keep seeing people post in the neighbourhood watch section here about being ripped off on leo, and I wonder how many are aware there is an ad section here and that the mods here are very on top of making sure the ads are of legit and reputable providers.

I agree on how bad Leo has gotten and I feel as someone who also advertises there too, it’s a necessary evil. In the 4 years I have been doing this the cost has doubled to run my ad there. I spend more on my ad in a month there than many pay for rent. Also it can be hard to be believed as real and legit alongside the fake and scam ads there. But the reality is that most of my clients find me there.

So, I am genuinely curious who here uses the ad section or cross references Leo with PERB. If there are members who somehow didn’t know there are ad sections here, well now you know.

My typical routine is to check Perbatory; read what's in the Lounge; check ads for my area; then check reviews.

I've also responded to ads on Tryst.

I have never, and will never. see someone off LL.

I check the Perb ads regularly.
Regretfully, I am no longer a frequent flyer.

Perb ads are generally the 1st place I look. Lucky enough that some of the traveling ladies I like to see give me a heads up when they will be in town. I’m to the point these days if I do look at LL I’m searching for certain individuals and not looking through the gluttony of ads.

If you google search “(city name) escort” top result is most likely LL. I reckon that’s where most start. Find what they think they looking for. Have a couple good experiences. Guys maybe don’t know or too lazy to scroll down and search anywhere else. Unfortunately makes a lot of you lovely ladies feel like you still need to have a presence on LL and other similar sites. And you’re most likely correct in doing so.

Sometimes. when I need to go to the airport I take a limo. Brick and mortar, licensed, etc. Plenty of options if there's any problem. Planned well ahead, options discussed.
Other times, I call an uber. More nebulous, private contractors, but still recourse if there's a screw up. Same day or two, maybe a favourite driver.
If it's unexpected or spur of the moment, I hitchhike, with all the dangers, thrills, and possibilities that holds.
Leo list is hitchhiking.

PERB is my first stop for ads. And I’ve never had any issues with an SP who advertised here. I’d never respond to a LL ad unless there were multiple positive reviews of her here.

The YVR area is a bit different btw, There aren't nearly as many local SP’s in many cities here in the hinterland, so guys have fewer options, and many touring girls use LL.

Can I flip the question?

Why is it that so many ligit SP’s in certain markets still use LL? they really do get lost in the weeds of all the scams, IMO anyway.

I’m really surprised that so many of Kel’s clients come from her LL ads. I’m not doubting you, just really surprised.

My preference is to support indies and i always look here/perb. I can be ambiguous if asked how/where i found them usually just saying online as ive read some providers don’t like review boards or reviewers. I only see well known established providers, if i do find someone who catches my eye on leos i will only see them if they can be positively cross referenced here

My Perb routine;
1. Read local forum ads.
2. Read local reviews.
3. Read local 411.
4. Check LL; if anything hits, always a Perb search.

Some of the ladies I see only advertise with Perb.
I saw an LL ad last night that looked legit for a possible visit. Perb search said she was a legitimate provider, but had horrible reviews.
I can't remember the last time I saw a provider that didn't advertise on Perb.

I still use leolist but only if I can find another form of verification like perb reviews or ad, or a personal website ot social media account. I agree leolist is a shit show that mostly seems to cater to scams, bots, and Asian micros with a few reputable providers thrown in.

I use Leo, Tryst and PERB because it’s good to advertise your business on various platforms. I have found most inquiries and clients find me on leo. Leo also gives me the most inquiries of time wasters and negotiators too, which is very annoying. It’s the most expensive too, and I would rather not need to use it.

I do find I get less inquiries from Leo the last couple of years most likely because of there being so many scam and fake ads many men assume me as is one of them. Many men who go on leo don’t even read our as let alone do homework to look us up to see if we are legit.

I would assume but can’t speak for other legit providers that they use Leo for the same reasons. If more people contacted us from our PERB ads I’m sure we would use Leo less.

I don’t really pay attention to sections. I just hit New Posts. Not a Leolist person, but I’ll search if anyone has a telegram account randomly. Most agencies use it, and I prefer it 1000% more.

To be honest. Perb wise, the only sections I scan are ...

1) The ads -- Indy,( dull now -- small amount of choices -- same everyday ) .....mainly agency sections. I spend time scanning.
2) Reviews
3) section 411

That is all. I no longer read the lounge as I lost interest. and do not read or see other city ads. Just Vancouver. I saw this " new post" to the right of the page headline and I thought that's worth a response.

Leolist is entertainment to me. I would venture to think 60% or more are fake ads. Some legit ads use photos which are almost 10 yrs old, PASS!!!

I use the ad section on here but I do find it’s all the same indie girls posting. I more tend to see agency girls more.

I have a peek at the Indy ads here, check out the lounge, and scan the reviews. I often use that as a starting point. I’ll check out LL or Tryst to see the ads for ladies I’m interested in. I prefer to know I’m getting someone good ahead of time, and not just rolling the dice last minute because I’m having a “dick emergency” lol
