edit: I'm always leery of these new girls who advertise that they want deposits prior to meeting. I'm dumb and I've been burned twice before with this. We should have one PERB member volunteer to TOFTT. If the girl is legit then it's all good. But if it's a scam we should have a system where other PERB members can volunteer $5 each or something to offset the money lost in the interest of TOFTT-ing on our behalf. This is probably too complicated to implement discreetly I suppose.

Her ad is up today around 1:30 p.m. I think people have different experiences with deposits, and scammers. I have sent quite a number of deposits over a number of years, being cautious and thoughtful about doing research, including on PERB (thanks!) and only once have a lost a deposit when immediately after I sent it all communication stopped. Just sharing my experience that when I have gone with someone reputable or reviewed, it's never been a problem. I have also been very artfully scammed by two women once - and I have pretty good BS radar and thought I was being cautious ... but they were good.
