Japanese population on serious decline—what to do?

If you have visited Japan, you understand what a wonderful world treasure we collectively have on this planet.

History, Culture, Cuisine, Landscape, and Safe Cities of 20+ million with little or no crime. Single women or men can walk down inner city alleys at 2am to the next karaoke bar with no fear of crime, drugs, homeless encounters, etc. We in the west have no clue how to deal with “complicated challenges”, but the Japaneese are not perpetual victims to societal woes.

The curse of this practicality and progressive macro-culture is that PEOPLE JUST AREN’T FUCKING ENOUGH! Much easier to flirt with an AI anime than get down and dirty on the tatami and start a family.

This is a systemic cultural problem that is in part taking foothold in North America too. Immigrants are far more likely to procreate and create new citizens than stalwarts of current society. No judgement—just recognizing the real demographic shifts are of our own doing. Europe has transited on a grander scale then we have seen. Massive demographic shits underway. We will see how that plays out. Procreation trends are a THING.

Having an aging population, Japan is no different than most, if not all, developed countries in this regard.

Yes the streets are generally safe over there. But they also have ghastly crimes happening every year, if not every month. It's just that local "news outlets" here are too busy pushing agendas. Crimes in Asia are of no interest to them or their target audience. The assassination of former prime minister Abe may well be the only crime that gets any coverage here for years.

Japan only hope its either a change of mentality about procreation which has been hard and next to impossible to do in any developed country so far or through immigration which we all know Japanese have been reluctant to initiate reforms that would change their restrictive laws with the main issue being their desire of ethnic purity (racism) . For all their politeness, respectful behaviour and orderly society Japanese remain slightly racist towards foreigners .

I have to be honest Japanese traveling to Canada or immigrating here are not racist based on my own experience but stories from Japan anecdotally tend to paint them that way and their laws reflect that .

Their age pyramid is off the chart and has been for decades now. No wonder their debt to GDP is totally out of wack.

To me, Japan's treasure has always been high-quality hardware that won't break for decades. Their vending machines, elevators, escalators, etc. never seem to malfunction. Even TOTO's smart toilets are durable enough to outlast their owners.

I'm part of the baby-boomer-bulge that happened in 1960. We drove the previous years of boomers economic prosperity and success and will have an impact on population dynamics when we finally die off.

The stupidity of decades of not planning for this by governments is borderline criminal. Everyone knew this was coming and yet no one actually planned for it. One of the best-selling books about demography (Boom, Bust, Echo) laid most of it out in plain language (yes, he got many things wrong, but he wasn't wrong about the looming aging population crisis).

Things that should be done:

1. Wealth transfer tax. Long overdue that we -- at the very least -- target housing with a wealth tax. You get one principle residence exemption and every other piece of property gets heavily taxed. The more property, the more taxes get paid.

Transfer it before you die? Taxed. Put it in a trust? Taxed.

This won't affect grannie living in her house, but it will impact families that own multiple properties as it should.

2. Change immigration to get rid of TFW and get rid of having only single men immigrate. This is great for businesses but lousy for population dynamics. Make marriage/with kids part of our immigration policy. Fuck Timmies if they can't find labour to exploit.

3. Make MAID easy. Yup, some people just don't want to die (looking at you Trump) but many do linger, suffer, and have horrific pain and other indignities you wouldn't subject a dog to.

And this includes changing the way the medical profession does things. Get off the fucking morality crusade and realize that yes, people fuck, people take drugs, and people die and acting like God in all these situations isn't helping.

While we're at it, fire half -- at a minimum -- of ALL administration in hospitals etc. Biggest cost in medicine. Do it with colleges and universities too.

Won't solve all the problems, but it would be a decent start on trying to make the world a little better for young people.

Non of that helps.

Women aren't having children, and men aren't interested in having a women carrying his child, or caring for another man's child.

The average replacent rate is more than 2 children per couple, and that is simply not happening.

This is an world wide trend.

No money? No problem! Have 6 kids and it's the govenrments problem. I bought a property with such a tenant and the government was giving them massive subsidies. He pretended to be disabled to get disability benefits and his wife didn't work. He worked for cash, but only part time. Blew his money and alcohol and cigarettes. Eventually stopped paying rent because "you own houses you are rich, I have kids who need the money more". I recorded him going to work (he'd put on a painters uniform and would get picked up in a company van), him constantly yelling at and beating his wife, and his wife letting their little kids roam free outside when she was fed up dealing with them. When he'd blare his prayer music at 5 AM, I'd blare Jewish religious music which pissed him off. Made a report.to CPS and the CRA and a few months later they "had to move ". Yet, by the numbers, they will eventually become sizable enough that the public will take notice and try to fight back. Look at parts of Europe...

I go to Japan every few years. Always a fun visit. Last time I went and came across a train attendant who spoke English, she was 34 and single, and was in my hotel room within 48 hours. The women there are who 30+ are deemed "too old" and get no attention compared to here where the ugliest troll women get constant Tinder matches. Plenty of great women in Japan but the issue is Japanese society. Long work hours for a couple leads to no time for making babies and looking after them. Work culture needs to change. They also have a very strict and complex social structure that is not conducive to meeting women and dating; no idea what they can do about that.

Their cars are the most reliable too. On this board we should also be talking about their providers. Just like their cars too, always reliable for a good time. They have also raised the bar with their filming action.

Abstract
PIP: According to the fifteenth national survey on family planning, the average number of children Japanese couples are having, which is below 2, is likely to decline still further. For the first time in the history of the survey, women who declared the 2-child family ideal outnumber those who chose 3, by 43.8% to 39.5%. Nearly 3% (2.9%) said they wanted no children. 2.6% thought 1 child was enough. Those who said they would choose abortion for a pregnancy resulting from contraceptive failure outnumbers, for the first time, those who would choose childbirth. The condom remains Japan's most popular form of birth control; 81.5% of women cited it as their major method.
The rising cost of education, followed by poor housing and stagnant income were the reasons given for the small family size desired. 1 of every 5 women cited the uncertain future and shortages of natural resources as causes of Japan's falling fertility.

I don't know where you are. But in Vancouver, it's a standard extra. Just look at the ads on leolist or go to websites like xds, k604, etc. going rate is $100 to $150 extra for not showing her face or $200 to $300 extra for showing her face.

I had no idea there was such a plethora. From perusing perb over the years, you always see that girls being marketed as Japanese are mostly Korean and sometimes Chinese. I will take a good look. K604 suggests Korean to me. But obviously what do I know at this point.

Yes good cultures and races are losing the number game. Most cultures should band together and get rid of the bottom feeders. You can usually tell who they are by their isolation from the rest. They're basically goblins.

There are more interracial marriages, relationships and kids than ever before 👍
And on average the kids are better looking by injection of new genetic, better disease resilience , better physical resilience and enhanced immunity.
