What I am trying to say is that it is a very good explanation for horny man that they want sex all the time because nature made them so, but it is just an excuse.
For animals the necessity of the female being in heat is like a built-in brake for the males. Humans have lost that brake, if they ever had it.
Humans are having sex just for fun and if they don't feel like it they take medication and think there is something wrong with them. This is just like obese people taking appetizers when they are not hungry.
