Been meaning to post to this thread for quite a while, finally getting round to it now. I've seen a few dommes in Vancouver so thought I would give my to cents:
Veronika Harley: Has a nice space, a concrete loft. She is really open to most fantasies and does a lot of stuff that most dommes, in my experience wouldn't touch. Unfortunately, I just didn't really hit it off with her. I found her play space quite cluttered (she has a hell of a lot of equipment, toys and costumes so I'm a bitch for even mentioning it really) and for whatever reason it just didn't work for me. I am sure she could be amazing for some people, just didn't work for me. Setting up the appointment took a while, but she was very keen to get as much information as possible via email and we had a chat before the session to try and get into the right head space. To be honest, the two biggest draw backs were 1) she smoked and I had just quit (not her fault but obviously wasn't great for me) and 2) she had a small dog running around yapping during the session. That was a huge turn off.
Madelaine Bates: Also has a nice space, a basement dungeon in east Van. Lots of equipment and toys as well. I really like her and have seen her 3 or 4 times. She is extremely good with her ropes and restraints, and a lot of fun to play with. I am mostly into CP/anal play and have always enjoyed sessions with her - wouldn't go back otherwise! Recently she has been impossible to get hold of. I know she went to Europe in June, so maybe she extended her visit. Other reviews have mentioned she is semi retired so might just be a case of being persistent. I would definitely recommend Madelaine as both a nice person and well equipped, understanding, experienced domme.
Scarlett from CL: Works downtown from an apartment. Nice enough space, I would say that both VH and MB are better equipped. Scarletts space is a bedroom/dungeon, VH and MB have more out and out dungeons. I liked Scarlett, she seemed to genuinely enjoy what she was doing and was nice and easy to talk with after the session. I don't know if I would go again, maybe. She was really easy to talk to on the phone to establish what I was looking for, and she took the time before we started playing to make sure she knew what I wanted. I was able to set up the session with 90 minutes notice.
Tyra Von Stern: South Granville area, nice enough play space but on the small side. She is an amazingly attractive woman (in my opinion) and the pictures on her website really don't do her justice (or didn't, she may have changed them recently, haven't checked
). Seemed to be a natural sadist, with a great laugh. Very clean and health conscious. Probably the favourite Mistress I have visited, and I have been back a number of times. Although I probably prefer the play I have with Madelaine Bates, T von S is, in my eyes, so hot and she wields it in a way which drives me crazy! Each to their own
She was hard to get hold of by phone, but once I sent her a mail with my number and a time convenient to reach me it was easy enough setting up an appointment. Just took a few days.
Mistress Viola: Her ad isn't in the Westender any more so not sure if she is still about. Saw her in an apartment in Fairview. Extremely attractive, and I mean very pretty, great body, Eastern European girl, late 20's I would guess. The session was good, but I was really nervous and probably (definitely) didn't make the most of it. Not a massive amount of equipment. She was very easy to talk to on the phone, very pleasant person.
Mistress Monika (?): She used to advertise a lot on CL, I see her ads occasionally still. I was pretty specific in what I was looking for and she basically just did something completely different. It's like asking to be spanked and someone producing candle wax. She seemed nice enough and everything, but in roleplay if the other person is doing something not previously discussed what do you do? Call them on it and break the roleplay, or not call them on it and endure something you aren't into. Either way the session is a bust. She didn't work for me.
So hope this helps if someone is considering seeing a Domme in the Vancouver area, just adding my 2 cents to the discussion.
Has anyone seen Mistress Arcane? I tried a search on Perb and found a review for her as an escort, but nothing for her as a domme.
