Hopefully. But Trump has taught me to never try to predict how voters will vote. Although I did think parts of the USA were way too racist and sexist to vote a woman in, never mind a woman of color, no matter who she was. But I honestly thought Trump was so bad nobody would vote for him, the first time. The second time I wasn’t shocked at all. I don’t watch reality tv tho. So maybe all his voters were fans of his dumb shows. I think parts of the USA are ready for a woman president and other parts of the USA are stuck in 1955

I was reading through an Angus Reid poll and one interesting finding was that while 90% of Canadians oppose becoming part of the US, just over 50% of Americans oppose it as well. Quick edit: 4 out of 5 Americans also believe it should be up to Canadians to decide if we want to join them.

No surprise that 20% of Conservative voters support Canada joining the US while less than 1% of the other party voters support it.

If you never watched any reality TV and base your sense of reality on polls and media, then you may well be out of touch with reality.

Indeed Trump’s reality TV series (Apprentice in particular) sheds light on much of his decision making approach and the reason that scores of celebrities signed up to challenge themselves even given a low probability of victory.

If you miss the overtones of what is actually going on right now in America (and Canada), then you may be an ignorant woke-ass liberal loser who has no clue how to help turn this ship around. Whining and bitching ain’t getting it done. More Orange man bad / Pierre bad bashing won’t help the libs transform from royal fuckups into a party worthy of re-earning working class votes.

Now the deniers have concluded that most swing-state Americans are stupid because they didn’t vote for word-salad Harris. Likewise we will surely hear that Canadian workers were stupid not to have trusted the Liberals with another term of sequential incompetence. Well, a lot of those non-liberal arts educated workers are pretty good at rebuilding the transmission on an ‘87 chev. Different kind of smarts. And it should come as no surprise that they don’t value our gov’t spending millions on fluff and patronage when food prices continue raising.

Failure to understand what the fuck happened here is a sure recipe for repeat disasters.

It just pisses me off the current Lib government ignorantly put most of our eggs in one basket, we could easily be the most prosperous country on the planet. Those pipelines should be exporting off the East and west coast along with our resources which the whole world needs and wants. It’s a real dilemma now as Pierre caters to his Canadian MAGA base and Alberta would support Trump more than any other province. The Libs have fucked this up since forever sucking the wealth out of Alberta and feeding Quebec with it who won’t even support Alberta oil coming their way. Will Carny make the difference, the loopy environmental lobbyists many who have been funded by big oil to keep that stuff landlocked so US can buy it at discount prices. It’s sickening you can’t build a house unless it’s all electric no more gas, this is a cold weather country we will never generate enough juice to run the heat and cars etc. We are sitting ducks for the US to take us over and they sure as hell want our water as well, the worst period in our history is upon us we need a smart strong leader, can Carny do it 😖

FYI since the invasion of Ukraine we have had about a dozen Ukrainians come to our office looking for work. My buddy has hired maybe ten for his building company and all are extremely skilled craftsmen. They also have good work ethics.
We have never had a gaza refugee come looking for work.
We did hire three Morrocans and it was a disaster.

I am not certain that closing the southern border and removing violent criminal illegals, the public getting a first hand look at the waste perpetrated by the deep state on items like funding drag shows in Peru and virtually eliminating inefficient government departments like education which have produced horrible results with the largest cost per pupil and turning it over to the states to run are not in the country's best interests.

The Liberal tears are an enjoyable byproduct.

Of course you guys would much rather that nothing at all be done about government waste and do NOT want it revealed at any cost, want violent criminals to remain in the country while the fentanyl continues to flow and have no issue with their education system being the worst out of all the 40 major countries surveyed and expect them to keep it that way. They voted for change (75% believed the government was going in the wrong direction) and are getting it. Trump has his highest job approval rating ever. Its going to be more interesting once Tulsi and Kash Patel get to work.

One of the highest illiteracy rates in the western world.
But sure, close whatever is left of the so called education department.
Instead of having more than half of the US adults reading at less than a 6th grade kid, why not shoot for more?
