I could do a whole thread solo on that subject, the so-called "Arab Spring" and the horrifying strategic mistakes the US made in that regard. Bad guys pretending to be good guys, western governments being absolute hypocrites; western media taking the bait (as if this was some binary good guy/bad guy scenario), and being wilfully blind to the actions of jihadi proxy armies and the powers standing behind them. Endless treachery, hidden agendas, cover-ups, and outright lies, creating huge dirty bloody mess (which is still going on). if she was openly dissenting to the establishment agenda on that, I have no problem with it. She certainly was not the only one, but as usual there is the moral double standard where the critics will then turn around and uphold alliances with other leaders just as bad or worse.
But yeah, her closeness to Modi is a problem - I think she's trying to prove her "Team Hindu" credentials too hard, giving her a major blind spot about his conduct & ideology.
looks like Assad is in trouble again. and since Putin is also in trouble then he will not be getting much help! Russia has a couple of very important bases in Syria... they will be losing those soon. Trumps help for these guys can't come soon enough!

All things considered the turn of events is 'good' in that there had been little relative bloodshed in getting rid of the totalitatian regieme. I hear the Sunni rebels are ready to turn on the Kurds already though, who have a secular democracy going.
Notice both sides do not have a comment on the CEO of United Healthcare being murdered. If I ever do have a medical issue right now being without insurance I would ask to not get care and die. Life is not worth living when its owned by medical bills. Think about it every day you wake up your money is not yours, the depression will kill you anyway.

In the last 10 years I've had 2 surgeries that are considered significant. An Open repair for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and a Quadruple By-Pass, didn't cost me a nickle. I do pay a bit more for beer and dairy and taxes north of the border but that seems to be a reasonable trade off all n all. Not perfect but we'll beyond a concept.

It's really well and widely known stuff that's not new at all.
And if you even bother to read it, it's the same information that was gathered by numerous other countries' investigative agencies, and even Russian officials themselves have acknowledged parts of it. 🤦♂️

And again..the citations are mostly items reported in The Guardian, New York Times, Politico WaPo and an interview by an MSNBC fruitcake with James Clapper all clearly anti Trump mainstream media sources. The author or authors had an agenda. In any event it does report that in 2020 the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and later the Durham report cleared him of having any significant ties with Russia during the Russiagate fake scandal. If there really was something there Hillary wouldnt have had to have create a phony Steele dossier with the aid of the FBI in a desperate attempt to take him out.
You can't just go in and just make random changes and get them approved. Again, that's not how anything works. You clearly didn't read or pay any attention to anything in the link given to you. Numerous people from the trump campaign team have been convicted of crimes related to all of this, and that's a plain fact. He had the most criminally convicted campaign team in history, due to exactly this issue. And the findings of the investigation found that there was a basis to speculate that Trump had committed crimes, but that intelligence agencies didn't have the authority to perform those investigations. Just saying that everybody in the entire world of news has some fake, made up bias against Trump is just moronic. And again, intelligence from numerous other countries confirmed that this was happening as well. Just plugging your ears and burying your head in the sand won't make the facts go away.
