The amazing thing to me is the same sheep on this site, the US media and the Democrats haven't figured out a single thing about why they lost so badly, and continue to repeat the same tired tropes they've been using since Trump entered the politcal arena in 2015.

they know exactly why they lost. they are anti-populists. they are too centrist. their narratives weren't a bunch of made up lies. they ran on the fact that no one with half a brain would vote for Trump. it doesn't always work that well in first past the post elections.

Why Democracy Is Mathematically Impossible

mankind will always be dealing with politics like this because we are flawed. we are not logical. we probably evolved rationality for identity first before discovering that its also powerful for discovering facts. but the identity part remains and is more influential. even those of us who are trained in empirical deduction have trouble with the identity influence.

why did Trump win? why is Putins popularity historically north of 60%? historical bad guys all had rave reviews with the common man at some point... before those people cratered the whole system.

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.” ― Isaac Asimov

Speak for yourself.

Anti Trumpers cling to this narrative that the American public isn't sophisticated and doesn't know what's good for it.

Maybe not enough of them are trained in "empirical deduction".

Maybe the US populace was not happy with the inflation, crime and illegal immigration.

Trump won, not because he was an amazing candidate, but because Harris and the Democrats had nothing to offer but the same failed policies of the last four years.

That's the simple reality.

So you're stating the electorate really wanted 2025, tarrifs that will cause inflation, the Wrestler queen for education, 2 tiered internet, and a rich plutocrat about to gut nasa to line his own pockets....or was it more of a 'vibe' they were going for?

No,I guess they should have wanted World War 3, a continuation of the open borders policy, ,more soft on crime policies, lots more censorship of free speech and men in womens bathrooms and changing rooms. All you have to do is look on a smaller scale at Americas largest cities...New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New Orleans for example to see how destructive Democrat policies can be over time.
I love how you now denigrate a former Democrat who has developed the electric vehicle, starlink and revolutionized space travel in terms of cost and efficiency because he bought Twitter and made it a platform which more accurately represents the public (even split in political beliefs of users) instead of being a Democrat propaganda tool. That is according to Harry Enten on CNN.

Your media allies are bleeding viewers and are likely to be sold or disappear completely because the American public has had almost a decade of Trump is a nazi and once you go there , there is nowhere lower to go and they are just tired of it and dont give a shit about January 6th but pocketbook issues that actually affect them. BTW

Last week the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies had higher ratings than MSNBC and NBC/Comcast is dying to get rid of it as it is also dragging down the main channels ratings through its association.

Im not a fan of any of the people on there but its describing what is happening and why MSNBC is such a drag on the main network.

You guys will never get it and I dont want you to.

That is the current situation. The next four years will prove who is correct.

Funny how you left out illegal immigrant and the biggest gov welfare recipient of all time. Guess its ok if you're not brown.

As for twittter being an accurate representation of the public , keep deluding yourself. The whole buy it thing ( now worth a 1/10 of it purchase) with secret partners was a propaganda push. Nobody wants to touch xitt(ier) with a 10' pole and the AG of Texas is trying to sue companies for not using it...so much for the vaunted free speech wich was always a myth under musk. Fucking Rubes.

The electorate bought the lies.As you say, we'll see what really happens, but based on Term 1 its already not looking good.

Also crime was down by all statistics but you keep trying to perpetuate that falsehood.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/crime/fbi-crime-statistics-2024-b2561552.html

When you leave out many of the main metropolitan areas like New York and Los Angeles where crime has skyrocketed plus decriminalize shoplifting under $1000 and other crimes not including violence and rely on counties to voluntarily supply their own information the true picture is not painted.. But keep thinking that and believe Merrick Garland.;)
There is a reason that Los Angeles and Oakland just successfully recalled their district attorneys.

"This is unintentionally hilarious, and impossible to take seriously".

Coming from you this is richly ironic.

You've been consistently wrong about Trump, the election and US politics in general.

How are you coping?

It can't be easy.

It has to be embarrassing.

C'mon man!

You really are just trolling aren't you? You haven't even tried to have any sort of rational discussion. Haven't tried to back up your viewpoint in any meaningful way.
You've got your talking points "TDS" "Orange Man Bad" but other than that it's just undirected vitriol.

It's just sad. Weekend's over. Election is over. Hopefully Trump won't screw over the rest of the world as much as he does the USA.
The best remedy for Trump (and you apparently) is to sit back and laugh at your ridiculous antics. Soon he'll just be another embarrassing footnote in American history,... which won't be taught in schools anyway because it will hurt too many feelings. Don't bother replying,.. I'm done with your little Troll circus.
Have a nice night everyone. Time to plan the next trip to the Lake.

The American people chose Trump over Harris.

Am I "trolling" you or is that a fact?

You've got four years to whine and bitch about it.

Pace yourself.

Musk did not develop the electric vehicle.
It’s incredible that you could think that.
Yes I did state that incorrectly. What he did was turn it from a niche experimental vehicle into a mass marketed product available to the public. Anything else?

The US does not have open borders. That's beyond stupid. And that's just halfway into your first sentence. It only goes downhill from there.
Thats why it is estimated that actually up to 20 million illegals have crossed into their country during the last 4 years counting getaways who avoided detection by many but I will take this source.

You are not particularly adept at justifying your positions. (Cue laughing emoji response)

Anyways go on..what's next?
