I got into an argument with an SP and she called me a bunch of names and said "only losers pay for sex".. I get the feeling a lot of SPs feel this way, and when they take your money they think they've won and you lost.

I thought it was the other way around.. I've been in relationships and just get bored. From my experience girls fall into only a few categories. I'm sure they think the same about men. But when I pay for sex I'm also paying for the peace of mind that i don't have to see or hear from this girl again, and not feel bad about it.

You're employer pays you to do a job but do people call their employers losers? Assholes maybe, but not a loser. I don't think so.

You can’t get a feeling a lot of providers think this way. What happened, based on your post, is that this provider was lashing out in your argument. It’s one of those easy insults to throw around, like those that demean based on looks or handicaps or shortcomings, etc. When someone takes the easy shots, and without thinking them through to their logical conclusions, you’ve already kind of seen their colours and have learned all you really need to know.

As the old saying goes, men don’t pay for sex, they pay for her to shutup and leave afterwards. (Belongs in the Innapropriate thread, I know).

However, there are many times we dudes just need a good romp without all the baggage of a “relationship”, and all the duties and expectations that come with it.

I find most SP’s though appreciate their clients and do not think that most of them as losers. Sounds like tou got the bad apple.

Dude, I've heard it all from providers.

"Only losers pay for sex"
"I hate all men."
"Wow, hobbyists are so shit like 99% of the time."
"Fucking limp dicked incels. All of them."
etc,.

These are direct quotes from providers who still advertise on Perb/Leo/Tryst.
There are all sorts of personalities that get into the business, and there are those that do deeply resent their clients/men. And to be fair, anyone who has ever held a job eventually resents their client/managemement. This scenario runs deeper though.

Personally, I try not to see these providers because if they're traumatized enough to openly express these opinions, I don't want to add to their trauma. My personal "do not see" list is basically a list of providers who have went on to tell the world or me directly how much they hate/loathe their clientele.

Does their opinion hurt me? A little bit. I mean, I openly admit I don't have the maturity, skills, or charm to meet and be with women the conventional way. I can't take it too personally since its an over-arching narrative in their head that I don't really get a voice in. If they're not happy with me, then I just remove myself from the equation. Find someone who hopefully doesn't mind my company.

Respectfully, your writing gives away that you’re well spoken and intelligent, and for a well spoken intelligent women, I’m sure that’s a pretty big deal .[/QUOTE]

Would be interesting to hear some of the Perb service provider members give their take on this situation.

Really well articulated. I feel this on many levels.

One provider fell into enough of a rage at the start of the session I swear she was going to punch me. (I had just said hello, and taken off my shoes at that point. I didn't even get a chance put down the money yet.)

I've never gotten anything close to that vibe from a provider, but I've gotten it from civilian women.

Seeing providers is what gave me the confidence to pursue a relationship, but having seen providers seems to have disqualified me from dating - at the very least, it's been an issue that torpedoed every relationship I've pursued. So it's a Catch-22.
