Not sure if "Mr Robot" has been mentioned yet, one of the best written series in the last decade.
Its 4 saeson long and will have you enrapt for all of it.
Story is long and twisted but the acting is superb; Elliott is an oddball computer nerd and talented hacker working for a security.
He also has ties with "anonymous", which leads to a titanic world and a battle ensues that is epic.
Rami Malek stars, Christian Slater
9/10

Mr Robot was one of the great series a few years ago that had me thinking YES, great TV has finally arrived.
As great as Rami Malek was in that series, Christian Slater blew the doors off in his performance in a supporting role.
And he duplicated a fair bit of that in the mini series Dr. Death with Josha Jackson and Alec Baldwin.

A Spy among Friends - Prime

https://youtube.com/shorts/ewDnhGIcTlE?feature=share

Damian Lewis and Guy Pearce are the lead actors in this 6 part spy series. It is framed around Kim Philby and his defection to USSR in 1963. All the other key characters having interest in this period are with CIA and MI5 like James Angleton, Roger Hollis, and John Profumo.

If you like Le Carre books and movies you will enjoy this series. Word of warning it may seem slow at times but lots of hints are dropped along the way during these spots. Don’t be like me and get distracted by your phone and having to replay 20 minutes of the episode.

Getting into Bad Sisters on my IPTV - its on one of the streaming services I am sure.
Really enjoying it. Great humour and the 'villain' is one of the best examples of a full on personality disorder I've seen since the orange cheeto was constantly in the news.
After the first episode I wanted to reach into the screen and punch that MOFO out. Now I want to kill him.

Picard Season 3
I'm not sure Picard season 3 is worth watching after the first episode. Trying to fool an astute starship Captain until believing a retired Admiral and Captain will make an unannounced visit (without verification) and Seven of Nine risking her career? Then there's the ahole of a Captain who's extremely arrogant, has terrible manners and etiquette? That's supposedly a thing of the past in the 25 century. I think Wednesday was more fun and "believable".

I really want to like Picard myself.

Season 1 started strong, but biffed it in the end with the "true death of Data", and Picard becoming an android himself.
Season 2 was a total write off of hot garbage. I love Q. But it seemed like a stab in the back on how he was handled.
Season 3, the first episode wasn't that bad, but again I was burned with how the show has been handled up to the point, I'm scared they'll shit the bed again.

If you like laugh-out-loud humor, SPRUNG on Amazon will do it. Nine episodes. The stripper Wiggles, her boyfriend Rooster and his mother are all hilarious.

We all have different perspectives or point of views.

I actually detested the first season, I stopped watching and continued with reading the episode recaps.

The second was entertaining, but not without some holes.

I was looking forward to season 3, now I'll just stream it online after it finishes or catch up by reading the episode recaps if it's worth it.

Brent Spiner does such a great job playing an ahole, I can't help wonder if he's one himself in-person. I read his tweets before Musk took over Twitter, and he seems to me to be a douche.

I think the fact NetDicks is fucking all of us over visa vi their fucking pricing is making me really fucking jaded but that's just me not liking to be fucked over.
Anyway, this is more critical than my usual upbeat take on shows etc ...

Tried to watch the Consultant. Sorry, too bizarre for me to get into it.
Die Hart, gave it 15 minutes.
Hung on to watch the Boys S3, got as far as half way through S3E2 then gave it up. Might come back.
Cunk on Earth - love Dianne Morgan's humour and her tits for that matter, but I find it gets a bit too repetitive but she is funny.
That encounters of the 4th kind show - I guess being a scientist ruins a lot of these shows for me, or I just don't have the faith that many do to believe but I canned it 5 minutes in.
I'm staying with Picard because I really like Jerri Ryan and her tits, but I find Michelle Hurd's character really annoying. So far S3 sucks ... hoping it gets better.
Was into the Recruit, then wasn't. Got too formula. Did finish watching Secret City, but same as Recruit, too predictable.

Is it me? or does it seem that originality is becoming more and more rare.
Glad there is pooning to fill up the time :)

For all you trekkies. Recent reviews of Picard Season 3 haven't been flattering.

The nost noteworthy news about the Star Trek franchise is Season 5 of Discovery will be its last. However, it appears Section 31 starring Michelle Yeoh might start filming soon. The prerequisite was that one of the series would need to end first. Given how both Picard and Discovery aren't being renewed, we can hope filming will start sooner.

Has anyone watched Poker Face with Natasha Leone? I watched the first few episodes and then gave up. It looks to me the premise was loosely based on Colombo.

Yeah, has that Colombo feel, and format.
Some of the episodes were quite clever, and very good. Most were quite blah after about ep 5, and they seem to completely firget about the casino security guy who was chasing her.

Probably already being watched by a lot of you, but The Last of Us is appointment viewing for me. I've played the games so I pretty much know where its going and I'm still amazed by it.

Not Netdix etc but CBC Gem. I pvr'd the 3rd season of War of the Worlds this past fall, watching it now.
First two freaked me out big time. I mean from a scientific view, this is how it all could end.
S3 is fully into Hawking Radiation, effects of quantum gravity near a black hole and alternate realities.
And really soulless aliens.
I'm jumping up a few times through each episode its that creepy.

Continuing to watch BMF and The Last Of Us.

Started watching Versailles for something lighter.

Waiting for another season of Perry Mason and/or Yellowjackets to start (soon I believe).
