I know it's quite common for women to have a male doctor, but how about a female doctor for guys?

Due to the heavy snow this morning, my doctor couldn't get in on time, and I was scheduled for a full physical. A female doctor popped into the exam room, and asked if it was okay if she took over. What was I gonna say? It took 3 months just to get the frickin' appointment.

She was easy going, and had a good sense of humour, and asked before she did anything. The prostate exam was easier because she had a smaller finger than my male doc.

All in-all, I found it not a bad experience, although I did get a semi when she was checking the meat and two veg. I apologized, but she laughed it off as "one of the hazards of the profession."

I had a female doctor once check me for a growth in my testicular region. It was kinda weird to be standing on a small stool with my pants dropped while she felt along my balls with her hands to examine what it was. I was trying my best to not get a hard on as she was a cute doctor too and I succeeded in keeping it down 😄

Overall I prefer female doctors. I know it is unfair to stereotype an entire sex, but I find most male doctors are condescending jerks with god complexes who actually look annoyed when you have questions. Women doctors in general are more willing to explain things including why they chose certain medications. Because they tend to explain and give me their thought processes I go away feeling the diagnosis and treatment set out by the female doctor is correct when most male doctors I end up spending the nest three days googling things and then usually still wondering if they were wrong.

I have had two female doctors, and they were both excellent.

And by that I mean they were my family physicians, and not that I had carnal knowledge of them.

Look left. Way left.
I had a female doctor for many years and she was incredible.
It was a very sad day for me when she retired.
She talked to me as opposed to talking down to me.
Never came close to finding anyone as good.
I've also have seen a few nurse practitioners that were very good.

I'm lucky my doc is male and i was referred to him by my ex. Awesome gp who's generally concerned about my health, very approachable and makes embarrassing subjects so much easier to broach eg one of my blood pressure meds was causing erectile disfunction, me being totally embarrassed to broach the subject brought it up to my doc, he was very professional about it and changed my prescription and followed up on it on my next visit. My ex was very happy once I got the lead back in my pencil ✏ 🙃

My family doctors were male for years. The last doctor closed his practice and moved away, so I've been visiting clinics on the rare occasion that I may seek medical advice.
What irritates me about the clinics is that the lady at the front desk wants me to describe in detail why I need to see a doctor. It's private, and I'm not comfortable describing it to you in front of a crowded waiting room.

One time, probably 20 years ago, I needed surgery for a lump on my elbow. It was a benign cyst. The surgeon decided to cut it out. An attractive female surgeon.
I rolled up my sleeve so she could have a better look at the area. She started rubbing my arms. Oh, you work out, this is nice. I didn't know how to react to that. Her assistant also started smiling at me, mainly at the stunned reaction on my face. It all worked out well.

Current GP (past 15 years is a woman, British, really lovely). Very professional and has guided me to fix a few things over the years. In particular a lump on my left nut. Was striking fear in the heart of this guy believe me. She handled it and suggested an ultrasound to be sure and it was just a liquid thing. I secretly referred to it as part of the deadly semen backup. She has convinced me that I really want a woman doctor in my camp.

But prior, there were several Dr's all temp replacing my old guy doc who retired. One was a new import from London ON, a brunette total BOMBSHELL. Was just getting onto some high blood pressure meds and one of the types was not fun, left me with a case of ED first time in my life. We discussed this and without a hesitation she said 'we cannot have that, so let's get that fixed right away and would you like some viagra to go with that'. Every visit was fun and damn flirty. I swear if she had stayed around I might have left wife #2 a lot earlier than I did!!

So yay for women Docs!

Same thing happened to me. The growth in my balls that I referred to in my earlier post that was being checked out by the female doctor. She flagged it as a concern and asked me to bring it up with my family doctor who recommended an ultrasound.

I was so worried thinking it was testicular cancer or something like that but when my family doctor went over the ultrasound with me, he was like go home its nothing major. Just a fluid buildup which isn't gonna do any harm. And there is no treatment for it so I live with 2.5 balls lol

LMAO I had thick veins and was worried myself too... Went to check with my GP and it definitely seems awkward when a male is massaging it lol... luckily nothing wrong with that... my GP has since retired and the practice is a bit of a mess so i've been thinking of going else where... Now I definitely want to find a hot female Doc... definitely makes it much easier to converse in many things aaand way more exciting to visit 🤓 🤣

I generally have found that female doctors like data, are more proactive in prescribing diagnostics, and referring you to specialists.

And ya, they got smaller fingers, so they got that going for them.

But when it comes to my health care, I will take a good doc with genuine compassion skills over a sexy strumpet, regardless of gender.

I used to go to a clinic where you'd see a different doc almost every time.
Decided I should get the pros checked...dr was a gorgeous 40ish lady from Taiwan.
After, I was tempted to ask if we should repeat next week just to be sure.

I don't have a female family doctor, but I did have an interesting experience with a couple of them.

A few years back my regular doctor, after giving me a prostate exam, said he wanted me to go to see a specialist. Needless to say I was a bit concerned. So the day arrives and off I go to the specialist. It's not too long after and I feel a thick male finger getting rammed up my ass. Always a pleasant experience NOT! He says everything is just fine. Feeling relieved I start to pull up my drawers, when he says to me, he has a couple of doctors in training that need experience in performing a prostate exam and would I be willing to let them perform an examination. Well whom am I to stop the progress of medical science. I somewhat reluctantly say yes and offer up my ass to the next customer. The door opens and in comes two hot young petite female interns. One is a blonde and the other is a brunette. I swear they looked like they just walked right out of a playboy centerfold. I tried to hide my smile as I happily let each of them take their turn. After they were done I jokingly asked the doctor if he had anyone else that may need some training.

What began as a day of nervous trepidation turned into quite a pleasant and rather fun experience.:)

I remember years ago when my male doctor had a young attractive female check me out instead of him. I had an issue with one of my testicles. I dont know if she was in training or not but what I thought would be a simple check ended up turning into her feeling my testicles for what felt like 5 mins until she finally mentioned that she found my issue. I was standing very nervous while she knelt down to have a feel. I tried to be free of any turn on thoughts but when I looked down I could see right down her top with cleavage on display. My bone started rising and next thing you know its rock hard right next to her face. It was a very awkward experience. Mintutes of awkward silence. Any longer and It would of been a messy scene. I have been checked by males and females before and none of the check ups were ever this long. It's like they all knew right away after around 20 seconds at most that I had nothing to worry about but this lady was a different story. Was she in training? I have no clue but I walked away feeling like like she was training to do more then just a simple checkup.
