Yup. Who lets a machete attacker out on bail? Oh, right. We do.Turned on Global News this morning mainly to check out the weather and news gals then saw this clip of some fucking asswipe cunt who had spent time for a fucking machete attack. Released on bail or something and within minutes was witnessed violating the terms of the release. A FUCKING MACHETE ATTACK.
The whole system is fucked up, mental health or not, some motherfucker who attacks anyone with a machete needs to be in prison.
What the fuck is happening to our country?
questions...Yup. Who lets a machete attacker out on bail? Oh, right. We do.
Two lines down, some POS robbing someone in a wheelchair. The neighbor threatening the senior really gets me…🤬
Woah woah. I understand that this is a controversial subject but what you are saying is just as horrible. My brother happens to be one of those “junkies” and although addiction and mental health is the root of the problem lets not go making statements that all the junkies should die. That is not the solution here and if you think that way im concerned for your regard of human life. Although my brother’s addiction has drained my family and is no benefit to society. I would be devastated if he was dead and the fact is these are human lives and there is ALWAYS hope for them. My brother got clean for 5 years after 30+ years of using. Addiction is not a choice it is a disease and even after newly contracting HIV after 30 years of using drugs he still got clean for 5 years up until Covid hit. I STILL will always have hope for him and every addict out there. Its easy to be angry at the addict but lets be mad at the system, the bigger problem here. Most addicts have suffered trauma beyond our wildest dreams, its not a justification to use but it sure isn’t my place to say who and what has the strength to overcome these sort of things. I highly suggest you educate yourself on the disease of addiction rather than wishing a collective of vulnerable and hurting people dead on a public platform. You just dont know what its like to be in someone elses shoes. I think to myself… why not wish for a solution than more of a disaster. Anyone is capable of doing horrible things, its not just addicts. Two lines down, some POS robbing someone in a wheelchair.
My neighbour manages at a big box store. They are swarmed with violent aggressive shoplifters. Some stores in their chain lose a million dollars a year in theft! They have been forced to hire a bunch of security guards and even actual police officers at peak times.
Right now I feel like the only solution is to give these junkies all the drugs they want and let Darwin resolve it.
Very well said! The one thing about addiction, is that the person is influenced by society to start.... alcohol, marijuana and the seeking of a better high (it starts socially).... leading to harder drugs.... meth, coke, heroin.
Violent crimes done by drug addicts sets people off on tangents..... "kill the bastard" etc; but Canada is not Nazi Germany.
There are no quick solutions to these problems, but what will solve them is a good portion of society that sets out to come to terms/help with the problems, instead of ignoring the problems. Some times its no more than a roof, food and a place to feel secure.
I can look at how life can be so complicated with family, friends, work, add in stress, government regulations, paperwork, money problems, debt, and jumping through hoops etc can lead to mental stress on individuals.
That Friday night party, to relieve the stress of the week.... get drunk and keep doing that for years.... takes a toll on people without realizing the real problems....
Damn. Some poor chap must've been left waiting for his meal.New comer to Canada had his throat slashed by " resident" of Crab Park. Unprovoked attack with perp caught on camera slithering away. According to Global, there are 4 stabbings a day in the lower mainland.
Hopefully the transient stabber gets the help and support he obviously needs. Now arrested. The prosecutors are asking he be denied bail.
