For someone who proclaimed himself as the "Law and Order" President, he's sure in a lot of problems with the law:

I know a lot have been said about Trump. I am also tired reading anything about him too. He will become irrelevant soon enough whether you like him or not. But the hate he has created causing friends, neighbours and even families to become enemies is just appalling not to mention the hate crimes to non white people. First it was the Mexicans, then the BLM, and now the Asians. This I believe can not be swept under the rug. An open minded discussing should be had if people even want to be what we were few years ago.
Fraid not, IMO. 74M people voted for him purely on personality - yeah, he's not exactly a governance/policy genius. The GOP cannot ignore those votes and even now, some state GOPs are censuring the representatives who voted to convict drump in the Senate.
Yes, you are right but the fact remains that he has caused so much hate and pain to so many people, unfortunately. And the lives lost because of his ignorant responds to this pandemic is something that cannot be overlooked. I still want to believe that at the end of the day, more than half or most of the 74M people will make their own judgement of themselves whether their lives are better going forward without him or with him. Time will tell.

During his 4 years of Trump till covid hit anyone who wanted a job had a job. Case closed for me, I could care less about his tweets or personality.

I kind of feel like people vote just based in party affiliation, and build their entire belief system based on that. When it comes to politics most people don't really look into the facts and only want to confirm their beliefs one way or another, almost like a cult following.
If people voted strictly on issues outcomes would be different. It would be interesting to see if you could have a society that votes digitally on the blockchain over all bills rather than senators... It would probably never happen but that would be some real democracy, rather than electing someone who has no obligation to do the things they said or even follow the wishes of their constituents.
Voting with votes recorded in the blockchain. Too cumbersome for all votes but big ones, you know to put the folks in power and have their promises and various oaths of office put into the blockchain too.
Then try financial interactions by the blockchain.
Real Estate deals.
Various contacts.
the list can go on and on.
The 'establishment' would commit murder to prevent that.
Trump created a few jobs building his wall. Claimed the military was out of ammunition when he took over so I suppose a few people were put to work making bullets. Other than that don’t believe any of his job creation claims.
Of the 10 things that came out of Trump's mouth, 11 things are lies.
They (GOP) doesn't appear to like women or people of color and really really don't like powerful women of color. And when they talk about "owning" some one, I think they might mean that literally. Their days are numbered.... voter suppression will only slow it down for so long.

My only hope is the GOP rips itself apart in multiple factions:
1. The NeverTrumpers
2. The traditional long time GOP members Generational Republicans.
3. #45 and his merry band of idiots which is mostly comprised of Tea Baggers and ass kissers Cruze et al.
I don’t think they can heal the party as long as #45 is involved.

Kind of agree with you there......of the 74 million GOP votes I believe that party affiliation had as much, if not more to do with it then any cult of Trumpism. What the numbers are is something we'll probably never find out unless Trump is around to run in 2024.
