I’ve had a few ask me for my perb handle.
I personally would prefer not to give it. I relate the way I talk on here to shop talk. I tend to get more crude on here than I would in the real world.
Talking about how pussies look, tightness etc etc. I feel as though this is my alter ego and not the real me and wouldn’t want to either not get a date with a lady or have an agency reject me based on what I’ve said on perb.

On the flip side I see why they do it. To reject any potential douchebags trying to book. To base character on what someone says hiding behind a computer screen just doesn’t seem right. I’d also feel awkward posting a review.

Just my thoughts. Would I be wrong saying “I have a perb account but would rather not share it.”?

I either lie saying I don’t have an account or book another sp/agency I suppose!

I’m sure some sp’s like Charlie Beckett who seems to have dirtier thoughts than me would find my words rather charming lol!

Some SP's or agencies prefer to ask a new client to provide references from reputable SP/agencies instead for screening purposes. Would that work better for you?

If you can't or don't want to provide the screening info they ask for, you just have to move on.

It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out ? ???

Mr Q.

P.S. If part of a Woman's screening process required my PERB Handle, and I wanted to visit her, I wouldn't have a problem supplying it . I'm not embarrassed by anything I've posted in the past !

For an SP a potential client's conduct while "hiding behind your computer screen" is more indicative of their true nature than anything else. Be respectful here, and everywhere else on line for that matter, and you won't have any problems sharing your handle for screening.

The first rule for success in being a good client: Don't be an asshole!

I usually share that I have a perb handle after I've seen a girl a couple of times and we've developed a rapport. Otherwise I don't care to share that I have one. A gal (who is been semi-retired not seeing any clients) recently reached out to me advising that someone has been asking around for specific info about certain perb members, wanting personal details and my handle was one of those names mentioned. I thought it was creepy, and she wouldn't say who the lady was, but someone who's been banned on perb. So there's that.

I would much prefer to provide my perb handle (and a private message to confirm it) than have to seek out references.
Yes. I used my Perb handle because I didn’t have any references at the time (due to retirement). We did a verification through Perb messenger. The only thing I was told was if I am anything like my handle then please tone down on the sarcasm during the session.

? THIS! ? THIS! ? THIS! ? Oh how I wish ALL providers, agencies, etc., would do this. Despite frequent assurances that "it's ok", I HATE asking one lady for a reference to see another!!! ?

Wondering how I really feel? :D

This is good feedback Gentlemen
I completely agree. Asking a provider for a reference feels like I'm pestering her, and it must make up a good portion of her admin time to do it. I've had SP's tell me that they don't mind and it's all part of making them safer to act as a community, but I still feel odd asking.

Funny , when I started a Perb handle was a good thing , gave us comfort . Now I usually avoid review board members unless they’ve shown decent gentlemanly behaviour here ... weird eh ? what a difference 13 years makes .
Sad. I'm certainly not disputing it - I'm in no position to judge, but it strikes me as sad.

in the past when booking with providers( to my success) i have mentioned having learned of them on perb. While on hiatus (while dreaming of future dates) i have wondered if doing so is helpful or detrimental? Unfortunate that we are all often painted with the same colour in the same light or have to carry the weight of other people's shitty behaviour .

I had been visiting SP's for years, more than a couple decades actually, before I discovered perb.

Never was asked for a reference, never had to verify it was me, just had to not have a blocked caller id and was polite. I guess if a particular SP wanted my perb handle, and I really wanted to see that particular SP, I would oblige but for the most part, giving a reference has never come up.

Maybe its my sunshiny disposition?

There have been ladies in the past report incidents of guys attempting to "intimidate" them by requesting discounts or added service because it would influence their perb review. So we certainly don't want to weaponize perb as it serves a very valuable role.

Reprehensible behavior. I hope there are ways of dealing with that kind of nonsense that don't negatively impact a provider's reputation.

Of course spreading lies can happen in both directions, I guess, but I find the very thought deplorable.

A quick note:
References are great and I am always thrilled to give them. I also make recommendations, and am like “say Charlee sent you”. I LOVE helping out my colleagues. Anyone who doesn’t give references gladly strikes me as kinda selfish and weird. We should all be happy to keep each other safe.

For me, if I ask the handle and your alter-ego is what comes up, I'm definitely not seeing you. I will avoid meeting clients who write graphic reviews, discussing provider's body down to their pussies and ''shop talk''. Your future possible review (good or bad) will bring me business (theoretically) and I am not interested in getting clients who need to know the tightness of a provider's pussy before booking her. I offer a safe, non judgmental and respectful space to all those who see me. I expect the same kind of respect from my clients. If you are uncomfortable giving your handle because of the persona you have chosen to embody on this website, perhaps it's time to change that persona? Either you own up to your words and give your handle, or you don't. If what you write here is something you would never say to a provider's face, then why write it at all?

That’s really great to hear. I agree it’s all about building community. Unfortunately, I had an experience with one provider I’ve seen for 8-10x. We were on good terms and even did a few things socially. When I asked her for a reference, she got upset and said she does not communicate with other providers and said she would no longer see me.

I believe her reaction is the exception. I’ve had gracious references from other providers.

yeah no, providers who get upset at reference requests are not professionals I'm sorry. You can refuse to give them because you don't want to vouch for someone and then have them hurt a coworker, but getting emotional and possessive over clients is literally the opposite of what this job is. We're here to give you guys a good time, not get jealous at a client meeting someone else...

Not all escort think the same way. No one does. The sex business is a business. There is competition. Its nice to see that most sp on this board conform to the sisterhood of the flying yoga pants, but again not everybody is going to think the same way.
Another Sp calling another Sp unprofessional goes against the yoga pants sisterhood. You can't say you get to eat your cake, and not let others eat their cake...

If an Sp wants references, give references or don't see her.

As for your Perb handle, Its is up to the member to reveal his/her Perb handle.
