Please take a look at this video to help demonstrate how the site should be loading.
If it is not loading like this for you, then:
-Please ensure you are using either Mozille Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
-Make sure you have the latest version of whichever browser you are using.
-And lastly, ensure plugins such as adblock are disabled as they are blocking our scripts.
Our first plan is to handle desktop users, then we will ensure the site is mobile friendly by having a light weight version of it.
This was a big launch for us today and at the end of it all the main issue we had to deal with was cross browser compatibility, from 'ad block' and other thirty party plugins that blocked our scripts.
Overall given the scope of this project and the volume of users we cater to, today was positive for us. The site remained stable and all core functionality responded well. We managed to successfully bring over 16,000 users without any down time.
We will continue moving forward with this project and in a few weeks we will have all this successfully behind us
We understand how frustrating this can be, but it is our first big change in 2.5 years. Within a few weeks we will be back to just being ERSList! We appreciate your support and patience.

Its incredibly ugly, sorry to say...and when I click on photos, nothing happens, maybe its a bug. I get where everything is now, took me a while to figure it out, everything is so big and looks like a childrens program. And right now I'm trying to look at ads, and there is no text, just thumbnails and a phone number, probably another bug. Hopefully it will all get worked out and I'll get used to looking at it.
oh i see, i have adblock and im using chrome...hmm, and i heard there are other things that need to be whitelisted, but I doubt many people will figure this out. So this is going to be a major fail for ers.
ok, I'm no expert since I don't cruise those types of sites very often at this point but:
thumbs up for being able to eliminate the annoying asian bombardment
thumbs down for the fact that when I clicked on the ad, the pics are too small for a good look or at least they wouldn't expand when clicked on

Though, happy that vca is mobile friendly.
Wouldnt it have been better to rip off craigslist format? I remember when duttslist was the main site after the shut down but failed because formatting just sucked.
Heres what im getting at...
Duttslist...craigserotic...vca...erslist were the sites for ads after the shutdown. Erslist emerged victorious.
Why? User friendly, worked well on mobile, visually appleasing.
Doubt many cared for ersbook or chat functions.
Now? Bleh
Disagree about search being better. Used to be able to enter Kor and it would find all ads with Korea Korean etc. Now it won't find anything. Also entering 0753 will not find the number unless the add has "778 987 0753". If the ad has "7789870753" only, it won't be found. Haven't been able to enter wildcards either, e.g. Kor*, *0753, etc. Given that perbites tend to enter the last 4 digits of the telephone number only, the new search may make it a little more difficult to find the ad.
Your demonstrating video --- FOR ME --- is as useless as tits on a bull.
It's so small that I can't read it or follow the arrows, no verbal instructions.
I've screwed with the new version this morning, and again this evening, and I can't do searches of any kind. I change the location to Richmond, the ethnicity to Asian, and I click on the only "Go" button I see, which is top right where you can enter a phone number.
When I click on that, up comes the regular page with no changes or what I asked for.
Search by phone number works for me, but that's it.
Like most have said, I think, so far it sucks and it does not encourage me. Instead it frustrates and annoys me.
Also, what's with the red 'Take Cover' button. I have a dozen T.V. channels that give me the news, I don't come on here to read the news.
End of rant.

On a side note,
If anything, this update helps the wallet.
The hassle of browsing the site make it me say "f it" and rub one out.
