i was a server for three years. while i went to school. and left this bizz. well i guess i took a three year break. its hard work. !!! but many girls who work at cactus club or earls or hired for their beauty.... the service is generally bad.. but they look good doing it and men know that... so thats why they still go...

Was down at the Granville Room the other night, and gotta say, there are a couple waitresses there that are just insanely almost too good to be real hot.

Of course, the normal scale of equality applied. Unfortunately, the hotter they are, the dumber they are. I swear our server was probably less intelligent than the guy on something who just kept circling the block muttering to himself.

Man I love when women are both hot and have brains. Unexpectedly pleasant surprises are the best things in life. Cheers to those, too bad you're so few and far between.

Good thing my friends and I were fortunate enough to get the cutest server in the establishment when we had dinner in Cactus Club in Robson last week. She reminded me of actress Kimberly Williams of " Father of the Bride " fame with outstanding personality.

It's part of the urbanista scene, I guess. Try to get a job as a food or beverage server in Vancouver if you're either male or female and are not fairly young, not at all overweight, and have no skin issues like acne. The staff are part of the decor.

I go to many Cactus clubs. The Yaletown one is pretty much number 1 followed by the Broadway/Granville one, then maybe...maybe...the Park Royal one...but I do find the downtown ones to draw much better talent
