Sade! That's a cool suggestion..
Roxy Music? I have no idea what that is... will have to check it out.
I think most of the CD's I really like are really mellow, lots of deep house (which is not everyone's cup of tea), loungy stuff. Can't go wrong with Depeche Mode but sometimes it gets a little heavy.. and I want a bit some more upbeat and lighter stuff.. and also some stuff with maybe a more sexually charged vibe to it..? I'm not sure if my explanation makes any sense whatsoever here, but thanks for the suggestions
I'll keep looking..
Deep house is fine as long as you don't really listen to it, then you notice how repetitious it is.
Roxy Music was the original band of Bryan Ferry (his song Slave to Love appeared in
9 1/2 Weeks) They reformed for a tour a few years ago. Their best music for sessions comes from the albums Flesh and Blood (1980) and Avalon (1982).

Depeche Modes best album is easily Violator (1990)

with the song Personal Jesus being one of the best to have on in time to an intense "O". My mix CD of theirs is mostly from that album with some select sexy tunes from Music for the Masses (1987) and Black Celebration (1986).
Most of this music reveals that I'm over 40, but I'm always interested in newer material, as long as it has sexy sounding vocals (not necessarily singing about sex) and rhythm. The best Madonna mix is from most of Confessions From the Dance Floor (2005) and some of Music (2000).
On the suggestion of M1A, I just bought and am listening to Air's Moon Safari (1998) and another Perbite's suggestion of Arcade Fire's Funeral (2004).
Monique, If I can ever pull myself away from my favorite SP's at BBC, as well as the tempting visiting indies (M1A, BobbiInVic), and get around to seeing you, I promise I will give you copies of my session compilation CD's. Your comments about wanting good music for getting down are exactly what I love about the hobby.
