Yes, I am curious about the industry and want to learn more about how it works. I agree that I have an active mind, but I'm sure that I'm not the first guy here who has thought of them. I could either ask questions here or randomly ask strangers at a bar about what they know about this hobby. Understanding how it works will help me feel more confident the next time I see an escort at her incall. Now that you mention it, I could submit my research here as part of my MA thesis!

I am sure you can appreciate the tone of you questions can be a little too intrusive or perhaps you really don't understand the personal nature of your questions? A log book? How an SP sets her rates? Where she chooses to locate?

In these days of pre C36 I suggest you establish a good working relationship with an SP who may share this info with you verbally and not on a public board?

Just curious, but why does he think that politicians don't mind $10000+ rates? I don't know offhand what a politician is paid, but I'm pretty sure that $10000 is not a trifle for most of them, unless they are very wealthy outside of public office.

You make a good point Claire and I have seen similar threads in the Lounge from newb SP's who do not know where to start and need guidance. Even if the poster is a Male, IMHO the questions are the sort that you may have in passing with an SP but not for the Internet's consumption.
