Today was an eye-opener for me, heading out to do some Sunday cycling with my young nephew who was in need of a top up for his tires before the fun began. It appears that Chevron is the last of the gas stations to actually provide free air to the public. Does this nickle and diming by the others grate on anyone else's nerves. A couple of other retailers were going to charge a buck. Not a big deal by any means financially, but consider the young kid going out for a ride, that's taking an ice cream out of his pocket, and for what? When possible I'm giving my business to Chevron moving forward (where practical) just on principle.

I understand why they charge for the air service. Idiots keep steeling the hoses and ends and it requires work for them to keep these services going. Nothing is free
