But if she is advertising on here she should have her name in red ..just to be fair to those who were punished for doing the same ... Fairness is good!! :)

What part of "she's not seeing clients" don't you understand, Sixpak? She's returned to the board after a lengthy absence, hence her new name "Monica is Back". But if she isn't seeing clients, what's to advertise?

I know I'm not one to comment about grammar, mine being so bad, but "if" in the context of that sentence might be interpreted by many as a subjunctive, which is used in expressions like "If I were you..." etc. and is therefore not even registered subconsciously as being there.

Yeah, that's it ... neither my conscious nor subconscious mind registered the word "if" in Sixpak's sentence. My apologies, Sixpak. I'm off to the dictionary now to read up on that sub junk tiff stuff. I promise to do better in future. :)

I have to say I find it to be little confusing when an sp takes time off, but then comes back and makes a big announcement to the board, "Monica is back". Why not just Monica?, and then put in her two cents. Many of us take time away from this board and don't announce our return when we come back. "Terrell is back". I have to say, I thought it was a weak attempt at telling us that she back and ready to play. A few of the pooner's that know her well say she is not, I guess time will only tell.

Confused too

I can't believe it takes over 13 posts in a single thread to get to the point which is–is Monica "working" or is she just playing on the board. Hijaking Megan's thread doesn't exactly give her the welcoming feel (unless they are friends).

Would she care to give us the real deal?

Really now. I did not realize that at all! Unfortunately I can't regard it with much significance. By freak coincidence I just happen to be reading a chapter on subjunctives in the French language. English we hardly have any but the French and German languages are loaded with subjunctives. No wonder I can't understand what they're saying.

Ahh score tied 1 - 1, Monica hijacks MMMMegan's thread and now MMMegan hijacks Monica's thread. :p :p :p

I would not mind being the tie breaker myself :cool: :cool: ;)

Although BCMod ruined it when he deleted the hijack, so what should the the score be???
