ah yes, well in that case... despite the owwie, if the procedure will let your willy run free, do it... i can't imagine being all couped up is fun at all. literally like wearing a sock. uncut is only good when you can pull it back properly... good luck... maybe you can get a lady to kiss it better when all done and healed...Namer said:

Your urologist's opinion seems to be weighted heavily toward the procedure...did he tell you what kind of complications? Do your concerns over potential complications outweigh your concern over potential loss of sensitivity? You seem to be really thinking this through....there are plenty of circumcised guys who NEVER say "gee, I wish I had a foreskin," but I guess you can't miss what you don't remember having! My friend at 20 had this done (honestly not me - still got mine). I say get another opinion just for comparison. I don't doubt it's too tight - however i remember watching something on the sex channel once where one guy actually gave himself foreskin back by slowly stretching out the skin. If the skin can be stretched enought to do that, there should be a good chance you can stretch yours enough so it's not so tight. There are pros and cons to each. Males with foreskin are supposed to be more susceptable to STD's of any type. In my humble opinion it was put there for a reason. Those of us who have it will be glad it's still there after the nuclear holocaust and we're all living back in caves.......i'm sure of it. Mine really p!ss3s me off when wearing a condom however. Perhaps half circumcision is the answer. Just enough to cover the guy when not excited but not enough to get in the way when things are looking up.
As an uncut male in his 50's I have never had a problem. The key is to keep yourself clean at all times. I say if it ain't broke don't fix it. I Suggest you get a second (or third) opinion.
When my son was born, he advised getting him circumcised. His reason was basically, had to see too many grown men have to get it done as adults. I feel for you.
Skin loses elasticity with age. The reason it sags as we age, is we lose musculature, and the skin does not tighten back up.
You could ask your urologist about body lotion to maybe help, but I doubt that will help. There was recently a study out that said lotions like hand cream, just make the outer surface feel nice, and do not really do anything for the underlayers.

Sounds like phimosis, where the foreskin of the penis is too tight that it can't fully retract around the glans. I had this. As a kid, I had no idea that the foreskin was supposed to be able to be fully pulled back. Then I started watching pornos when I grew up and noticed that my erections looked different from the actors (beyond the smaller statureNamer said:
). Anyways, the skin does stretch. I'm not sure what complications your urologist is referring to as I don't know how severe your case is. But it took me about a month of steady, gentle stretching until I was able to get it to retract fully. It was about another 2-3 months where I was fully comfortable with it retracting. I tend to lean to the side of people who think that the foreskin is there for a reason and would rather not mess with it if I didn't have to. You can pm me if you want to ask any questions.
