Does anyone know how indy girls advertise in Prince George?

How do most indie girls advertise in Prince George?

Hi,
I'm moving to Prince George in a couple of weeks, and am not that keen on working for Black Orchid, which seems to be the only agency in town (is this correct?). So, I'm wondering if anyone has experience contacting independent providers up there, and if so, how does it work? Is there something analagous to the Georgia Straight up there, or is it in the local paper?
Does anyone know of a website that lists service providers in the North?

The way it seems me, so far, is that Black Orchid kinda has the whole place sewn up. I'd really prefer to be independent, but that takes expertise I don't really have...like knowing how to build a site, and where to link it. If anyone knows of any good sources of info on either of these, again, much appreciated!
