I'm not attracted to the banana Asian gals, I've seen enough of today's generation to know they lack many of the traits that are in the past-like how to cook a decent Asian meal, wanting to have lots of kids, saving money, being a housewife. Its too much party, tight clothes, clubs, forget that.

Just go to an amp and find a spinner for your Asian woman needs and crap I dont think I will be able to find a wife here, most likely I'll have to go back home to find one with the personality of days gone by. Maybe I will try the small villages and towns in China for that.

a lot of kids? Honey, it's bloody expensive to raise kids these days. Also
not to mention, women these days like to spend some time looking after
themselves as well (pilates, yoga, jogging, gym). Partying? Tight clothes?
Well, you must be dating women in their 20's then. Most women in their
30's are tired of clubbing & the party scene.

I guess you'll have to find an old fashioned girl who would love to be a
stay at home mom & domestic goddess. These types do exist but you'll
probably won't find them at clubs. I know an Asian couple where the man
is a medical doctor & his wife is a stay at home mom. Works for them.
They plan to have at least 4 kids. They are quite happy with their
arrangement.

Wow, talk about an indignant response to someone's idea of a suitable partner. You could barely hide your disgust! And you didn't even have to say anything! As if a house wife doesn't care to look after herself? There's a definite political slant about womanhood in your response.

But hey, do you have a double standard? I mean, would you have had a similar response to a girl who says all she wants is a guy who is rich so she can do nothing but shop for the rest of her life?

Disgust?

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that modern women these days
want a more balanced lifestyle. In the old days, women looked after their
husbands & kids first & neglected themselves. She never considered herself
a priority. Now many modern women don't want their kids to be their
entire existence.

Also given the reality of today's economic climate, few couples can afford
to raise a large brood unless they are willing to sacrifice quite a bit or are
wealthy. Material seduction makes it challenging for us to save. We are
constantly bombarded with images of the latest flat screen tv's, ipods,
iphones (will come to Canada eventually), etc. In the old days, kids wore
sneakers only to the gym, now it's a fashion statement. For better or for
worse, many marketers target teens now since they have more buying
power than ever.

Should a woman marry a wealthy man so she can shop until she drops?
Sounds like a fantasy come true but shopping gets boring very quickly.
A woman who marries someone she truly cares for will not want to drain
her honey's wallet!

Of course there are some women who want a large family & are content
to stay at home to keep everything running smoothly but these ladies
I assure you are far & few (at least the ones born or raised here).
