The perfect new years for me:
-go to sunterra and pick up some nice food....selection of cheese, sausage, pickled and fresh veg, fresh bread
-pull a special bottle from the cellar......I've been waiting to try a bottle of the Mount Veeder cab sauv
-get the fireplace going
-crack open season one of the sopranos
-ignore the rest of the world

Perfect :)

Annalise - suggest the Edmonton New Year Festival especially with a group of friends. Non-alcoholic and friendly to singles, couples and families, depending on which venue.

Invite as many chicks as possible over to our house. Get depressed about no possibility of getting lucky with them. Get totally hammered. Play some video games. Hope not to make a fool of myself and say something I shouldn't have in front of the wife ... yeah pretty sad.

What kind of plans does everyone have for New Years Eve ??
Ideally it would involve a mind-exploding orgasm at the stroke of midnight with some hawt bitch. Realistically, I have no idea. Me and my drinking buds will play it by ear.

Last year I was in Vancouver, eating at a lovely resturant then walking the seawall. This year I'm in Edmonton and have No idea what to do.
If all else fails there is the fireworks extravaganza at Churchill Square. It's a no-alcohol event, so I suggest bringing a concealable bottle with you!

I am going to watch 2 of my DJ friends turn tables at a bar.

Getting down with my bad self. The last time I went, I rolled in the door at 6am... We'll see what the evening brings.
