I realize its one thing to have the confidence and self worth to say I'm worth $_____ but when in business one must also pay attention to the market and supply and demand.
That kind of rate might be better suited for large US or european cities but this is Winnipeg. You are in the same market as a number of fantastic providers whose rates are in the $$ to $$.5 range. If you feel you are worth it then set your rate at the high end but you can't realistically expect guys to pay an average of $125.00 to $175.00 more for an hour with you than lets say Holland, Brooke or Mystique.
I'm in business and I would love to come in one morning and say, "You know, I think I'm worth way more than I'm currently charging my clients. I'm going to increase my prices by 50%." I can tell you, I'll be spending a lot more time on PERB and a lot less doing what I do. What I do charge is on the high end of the Winnipeg market so I don't have to work as hard to make as much money as some others but I am still within the market.

Well then I guess it's lucky that those of us that have found the review boards can avoid those "Thieves" that call themselves "Agencies".

I know nobody here is dumb enough to use them, we can support the girls that give you an hour for the set donation with no upsell or other BS.

Agencies operate differently and it is never about what the client thinks the services is worth. Women in agencies have to hussel hard and keep calls/sessions under 20 minutes, if the call lasts longer the driver calls the girl after 40 minutes n you pay for the next hour or she leaves!!!

That might offend some guys but agencies cater to elite clientele that have money to burn and don't think twice about dropping $600+ on any type of women. It might shock some men that don't have the luck of burning money like that. Having advertisments in the phone books brings in a insane amout of hotel calls so if a handfull of winnipeg guys don't call then they barley notice because they all have 6-10 phone lines ringing 24/7 and a team or women that are driven by the game.

What is learnt in business school can apply to this industry but not all rules apply. It might be hard to accept that and makes most men want to argue that point but there is nothing you or anyone can do. The women don't set the price the agency owner sets numbers that you have to meet. It starts out kinda scary but you get this high after the first call you walk out of after 15 minutes with $500 bucks and you want to do it again and again.... agencies rock FOR THE GIRLS thats where the BIG BIG money is...

That may be, but cities like Montreal and Toronto, for example, have many agencies that provide great service for $250 per hour or less for the full time booked with no upselling, etc. Winnipeg agencies are still allowed to live in the dark ages. Why is that? Why doesn't someone start an agency that puts the customer first? It works elsewhere. Why not in Winnipeg?

You're right and if all guys out there were seasoned pooners and used review boards things would be way different.

Unfortunately there are way more guys out there who are A) not experienced, B) too stupid, C) think with the little head, D) have too much money, or any number of other reasons, that the agencies or the girls on CL rely upon.

Symone brought up some interesting points. I guess when you've got some horney guy who hasn't had sex for 3 months, sitting in his hotel room all alone, economic theory goes flying out the window.

Yeah, that was tried on me some years ago. I was a little inexperienced and I called a girl from CL, she advertised 150 for an hour and I thought, well that's pretty good. Came over and explained that was just for her to come down and started asking extra for everything else. Ended up wanting like 450...I laughed and told her to leave. Even my little head was like "bitch, you crazy!" So I took out the 450, placed it on my table and went to town on myself...ahhh yeah...
