Olive Sided Flycatcher

Most beginning birders concetrate on "watching" (includes myself)
but the really successful birders include listening (the lyrebird would be a challenge).Beginners use a system of phonetics, mnemoniccs etc. to remember different calls. One of my favorites belongs to the Olive Sided Flycatcher (a common local bird).

"Three-syllabled song conistis of an abrupt, relatively soft initial note followed by two strong, clear whistles -

QUICK, THREE BEERS"
