I've never seen a thread on here discussing stocks. Too boring of a topic for a hooker board?

Well, let’s give ‘er a shot. Anyone have any recommendations or good stories?

The general rule is whatever stock I buy, it’ll tank soon after I have it. So the next time any of you want a good tip for a short sell, just ask me what I’m buying next.

About 5 years ago, or there abouts, I bought a wank load of Future Shop. 2 weeks later Best Buy bought all the stocks for about 20% above market value as part of their take over. That’s the only positive experience I’ve had.

I’m thinking about buying Home Depot next. It’s down about 20% this year, so I think it’s a good value now. Thoughts?

Don't laugh but it might be a good time to start looking at some hi tech stocks since the average investor is still reeling from the shock of a few years back when they went into the tank. Having said that I still wouldn't buy any Nortel for a while... .

Good topic BTW.

I usually get cocks when they're high but if they're down, it's only a matter time til they make huge gains. Oh...stocks...oops, sorry mj. The Keg has been a star performer for me in the past few months.

Thinking about Home Depot. Great company, great stores. Highly leveraged to the home bulding and buying cycle that we are in right now. Also highly leveraged to low interest rates. If the bond market tanks and rates rise, this company might feel some pain. Just my .02 cents
