LOL!!!! friggen Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie :D :D

Imo the acters they picked for the thing are as far off from the originals than shootin shit in a barrel, or some kinda dumb red neck comparison like that.

Double D or Daisy was a fukkin brunette, at least whats her name has the ass for the job :D

The Duke boys are more like skaterboarder stoners than country hicks.
And Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg is just...wrong.
The best things about this movie will be nostalgia for the TV show, the General Lee, Jessica Simpson's half-naked body, and Lynda Carter. And that's why I want to watch it.

Wtf, that's not Dukes of Hazzard, that's a loose adaptation!

I watched every Dukes of Hazzard episode ever made, I was a huge fan. Bo was the brunette, Luke was the blonde, you think that would be simple enough, but no, Daisy is also Blonde too! Uncle Jessie isn't fat, neither is Boss Hogg. Daisy was smart, Jessica's an idiot, sorry but I don't think she can play a convincing Daisy, the real brains of the family.

That being said I love Johnny Knoxville, so will watch it for him and just out of curiosity. I'm sure I will love to hate it!

Actually, MG, you've got it backwards...

Luke (Tom Wopat) was the brunette and Bo (John Schneider) was the blonde.

I agree with you tho, that Jessica Simpson probably wasn't the best choice for Daisy. Should've definitely gone with a brunette...

Perhaps Catherine Bell (from J.A.G.) would've been a better choice...?

That's right, I could have sworn it was the other way though. Bo from Days is a brunette so I must have gotten them mixed...aaand I was 15 when the series ended btw, before I started smoking pot. (My excuses.) Lol. ;)

I was surprised that there were already 2 reunion movies, featuring the surviving members of the cast, aired in 1997 and 2000. Those would have been good!

Well, they were "alright", but without Boss Hogg in either of them and without Uncle Jesse in the second, they were lacking a bit....
