The guns are not yet cleaned after the #2, and I'm announcing #3 already.

YUP ... it will happen
This time, it will be on weekend. Date and time and place - TBA.
As with previous ones, we would like to have a mixed group of girls and guys ( it is just more fun that way )

The PSG#2 thread had 40 posts, and over 840 views. I would assume, that some pople are lurking and too shy to contact us ( or they are just suckers for pics of chicks with guns ).

Please contact Kev or myself via PM if you would like to participate.

ps. in order to be able to hold a larger group, and still have fun, we are looking for people with guns ( legal owners only please ) so Marvin ... unfortunatelly you are invited.

How does one go about buying a gun and legally registering it?

Before you can buy a gun, you need to apply for a PAL (Possession and Acquisition License). Once you have the PAL, and depending on the category of gun you are allowed to buy, you can then go shopping for a gun.

longer version ....
two types of licences ...non-restricted and restricted firearms. I assume you want to have a pistol, so you will need a restricted license. You need to complete canadian firearms safety course.
it is a 3 evening course with the test and practical exam at the end. a 28 day mandatory waiting period after this, and you will receive your license in the mail.
if you are serious about it ... i will give you a guy that is an canadian examiner. unfortunatelly he is in langley. also.. after the tests, he can take you to a range and let you shoot from number of his guns. will give you idea what type of the pistol you might want for yourself.
