The most basic newbie question

I am looking for what the standard procedures
are at the more upscale massage parlors
in Vancouver (Cleo's, Swedish touch etc.)
e.g. what is included at the base price
quoted on the web page? At what state
of dress is the SP? Does the SP bring up extras
upfront or does the client have to take the initiative?

I will be visiting Vancouver in the near future. I
read the newbie guide at PERB and the home pages
of several massage parlors. I also tried searching
for "newbie" "faq" etc on PERB. But that didn't answer
my question very well. This seems like the most
basic of newbie questions.

The standard drill
for massage parlors can be very different in
different cities. I have been to Toronto and
know the standard drill there.
The homepages for Toronto massage parlors are
much more direct about what is included in a session.

Any Vancouver natives want to help out some of
us poor traveling professionals.

The base price is really only for the room fee. Although it is supposed to include a massage, the massage is usually pretty lame and not the reason why anyone goes there in the first place (if you want a good massage, there's lots of registered massage therapists around who only charge $70 or so per hour, including room fee).

The girls start the massage wearing lingerie. After massaging for awhile, they naturally steer the conversation to "extras". They usually like to get you to make the first "offer". I expect this has more to do with seeing if a newbie/tourist offers more than the standard rate than out of a concern about law enforcement. You can speed things up a little by taking the offered shower at the outset and then stay nude and without a towel to cover-up.

The opening gambit is usually 100/200/300 for hj/bj/fs, with everything covered. You can sometimes bargain down the FS to 250 or even 200, depending on whether you've been there before, how busy they are, how well you get along with them, time of day, etc...

For the price, however, you should seriously consider some of the fine and highly-rated independent SPs reviewed on this board (e.g. Alexis, Ingrid, Julia, YourJordan and many others) or highly rated agencies (e.g. Carman's Foxes).

Note: there's a much wider range of services available at the Swedish Touch and Madame Cleo's than there is in the downtown Toronto massage parlours as FS is readily available here.

Have fun and report back on your experiences.
