The Importance of K

"K" is an extremely important letter. It is the letter of acknowledgment.
Ever send a text that you need confirmation for and you do not hear back? I send this type of text many times a week and the only acknowledgment I want is a "k".

1) Me: k?
Client: k

2) Me: I am located at Fort and Richmond, please text me when you get there
Client: k

3) Client: I am leaving now I will be there in 20min
Me: K

When you don't know what to say but you have to say something, usually a simple "K" will suffice. If you think it's pointless to text one letter try sending "ok". But I suggest you try it before you knock it. It saves on texting time yet conveys so much.

Sometimes people text "Kk" and then I realized the "O" is next to "K" on the keyboard so big thumb typists accidentally type "Kk".

No, I am celebrating the letter "K". Please don't mistake my cheekiness for advocacy.

I personally hate when an SP replies with k. If she wants my hard earned dollaes , she could at least feign that she is happy I'm visiting! "I can't wait to finally meet you" " hurry up and get your sexy ass here" sort of texts. Hell even "c u soon" is more promising than "k"!

You're right, sometimes the letter "K" just does not suffice.

Being a pedantic type, on the rare occasions when I use text messages, I always write in full sentences, including punctuation.

Fortunately for my sanity, I have only one friend who is keen on text messages. Everyone else I know is happy enough to communicate with voice calls, or email.
